about the hag in the recent chapter i found this on the op reddit 1. The chapter is suspiciously focussing on how the WG controls everything but not wano 2. You have this weird things the old hag says that resembles stuff Doffy said about winners writing the history, also her being to the outside 3. DFs are very rare in wano already. Now suddenly there is this witch with a fruit that has to end up somewhere else ON TOP having access to a super rare myth. Zoan (also she just knows this fruit it connected to a power unlike wano people who dont know the concept of DF) 4. The old woman specificly talks about weapon trade.. you know something the world gov deep into 5. You might have already realized it by now that you misunderstood those panels with oden and sukiyaki. That old lady turned into oden and introduced him to sukiyaki. That's why when oden visited sukiyaki orochi was hiding. I think they already killed sukiyaki and she turned into him to make orochi the acting shogun. Why would sukiyaki select a person as orochi without any clear background? He could have made any of the other daimyo into one. Also, the island maybe ruskaina.

@King_ Recon, oden wasn't the one who introduced orochi to sukiyaki. It was the old woman who transformed herself into oden to do this. She also transformed into sukiyaki to make orochi the shogun which suggests orochi and the old lady killed sukiyaki a while back and the old lady was pretending to be him until they were ready to tell the whole country he was dead and make orochi the shogun.

It's amazing how this old woman with Bon clay DF is basically what got Orochi to be Shogun, not only did she become Oden to tell Sukiyaki "Orochi is like my brother" but she also became Sukiyaki to appoint Orochi as Shogun stand in. His acting skillsreally were top notch. Respekatbol in a way tbh. A couple of questions tho...how the fuck did she touch both sukiyaki and Oden. There are a lot of layers to this chapter, both from a thematic-symbolic standpoint and a worldbuilding standpoint. There is literally too much to cover in one comment but i'll point out some interesting details. 1.Roger's sword seems to be the same as Shanks'. Shanks has a similar sword with Roger's and Rayleigh's at the end of the chapter but i think that just implies that Shanks idolizes them and that he tries to imitate them. Anyway, i'm gonna assume he inherited his future sword from Roger. 2. Every Clan has the moon in their name, except for Kurozumi, which means black charcoal (or something like that). I think this whole Orochi conspiracy is a parallel to the conflict between the factions of the D Clan as well as a foreshadowing for the fated battle between Blackbeard (the descendant of the black sheep of the D clan) and Luffy (the descendant of the betrayed Ds). Coincidentally, Blackbeard is also in the chapter and he is in the same position as Orochi. 3. In the panel where the old woman reveals that she is the user of the Mane-Mane no mi, she transforms into what many people theorize to be a young Shiki. The hair and especially the eyebrows are alnost identical. Idk what Oda wants to do with her but her existence will be very important in the future. Just imagine who she could have impersonated in the flashback and what plot twists might await us. 4.Another potential worldbuilding detail is the island Whitebeard and Roger landed on at the end of the chapter. Based on the structure of the island and the abundance of wild animals, it could very well be Ruskaina, which would explain how Rayleigh knew about it before the timeskip. I also wanted to talk about Momo's amazing character arc as well it's resolution through his potential fight with Orochi, which, if it happens, would be perfect from a narrative and thematic standpoint. Especially if, again, we consider the parallels with the D clan. Regarding Orochi, i'll let the story build up more to talk about him in-depth but i can confidently say that he is becoming my favourite secondary villain in any story arc thus far. I am just as invested in his story as i am with everything else in this flashback, which is insane considering the legendary characters that are featured in it. So let's hope the channel stays so we can talk about all this greatness

Its interesting as hell 4 out of the 5 familes in wano have connection to the moon, but orochi's family is the only without a connection its like the "black sheep" of the families.
