Back in Drum Arc, Luffy told Sanji that people from snowy country never sleep, sanji said how was it possible? So this chapter is super packed, but it also mirrors when Roger tells Oden/Whitebeard "That's right! And then I'll be..." and they don't show what he says is the same in the flashback to Ace, Sabo, and Luffy when Luffy says "All right... well then... I'm gonna be..." and Sabo/Ace have the same reaction that Whitebeard and Oden did. Disbelief and laughter.

Not gonna lie, we've been getting literal GOAT chapters every week and I know it's going to continue which is so incredibly hype, BUT in the back of my mind it's also making me feel really sad every week because I can just feel the beginning of the end of One Piece coming. It's no surprise to us fans that the story is near the end (relatively speaking) and I just can't help but feel so depressed thinking about the day the story actually comes to a close lol. That day is gonna be a massively bitter-sweet day for me lol. I love this series with everything in me.. But with that said, here's to the final decade of One Piece! You know Oda is gonna end it in a way that only Oda can.

26:30 We can't, actually. We've got a weird blacked out moment like that during Luffy's flashback too, he says "I'll be..." and we never got the rest, only a dumbfounded Ace and a laughing Sabo. So there is some kind of twist there. Maybe "Pirate King" isn't actually Luffy's end goal. Shanks also said that one day Luffy told him the exact same thing Roger did, and we don't know what yet.
