How delightfull to hear...it is like music dancing in my ears....especially with all the changes in tempo. The music carries you "up" then there is the syncopated pause which grabs the breath and is followed by the higher note.....it's like being carried along and then flipped in the air as an acrobat or gymnist. Delightful, quirky, clever...a tickeling of the ears...a trick on the brain.

isnt it like a Dizi or Xiao though? (chinese instruments)
@caovan49122 жыл бұрын
@@lithbcyes4201 Vietnamese bamboo-type flute is usually thinner which gives a lighter, slender, higher and more funny sound pattern - it shows the soul of Vietnamese people. (The Chinese bamboo usually thicker, deeper and a little bit more sadder)

They're arranged in such a way that they can see him without directly looking at him. All they need to see is the movement. It actually makes me wish that Western xylophones and similar were set up in such a way, so I didn't have to keep sneaking glances at the conductor.

What great fun! Brilliant performance of a clever and engaging arrangement of one of the great European orchestral marches by an ensemble playing a dramatically non-western instrument. The flutist is also a master of his instrument and provided a bright thread that waxed and waned and tied the arrangement together. Thank you for uploading this charming performance.
