No high school bass can sing as low as avi
@gidster1925 жыл бұрын
The only note that Avi can hit in this song that probably most of the bass 2s can’t, is the last note which is a Bb1

Gidster1 is bass two lower? I’ve never been in a large choir before. Just my church.
@gidster1925 жыл бұрын
Kolten Kirk ya bass 2 is the lower part of bass when it’s split up
@TwoFingersOneBall5 жыл бұрын
Gidster1 If there isn’t a Tenor split, Bass 2 is often referred to as Low bass, or just bass. While Bass 1 is typically just Baritone without having another line written out.

I love that he's locked into the choir director. It doesn't matter that he's a pro, or a guest, because at that moment he's just another singer... a little more experienced, but still "just" a singer. Beautiful!
@CherryGryffon6 жыл бұрын
I find that's usually common with classically trained musicians, versus ones that go the "pop" route. Someone who's classically trained has literal decades of "watch the director" ingrained into them lol. I'm a classically trained violinist, but because of my years of playing as a full orchestra with a director, I just can't play soloist.

This is an example of why we have to dig deep and support and fund our schools. The lessons learned in striving for this level of coordination and discipline are nearly impossible to duplicate without the kind of joy that doing so returns as incentive. The arts are not luxuries but assets that give way more than they cost.
@thomasarussellsr3 жыл бұрын
The arts like band and chorus teach large team team work like no sport can. How any school administration can not see this as imperative to development for the future of our youth is beyond me. Our very society is becoming a team oriented workplace. Larger international teams comprised of smaller teams spread around the globe is modern and future business. Like sections of a band or choir, groups need to work together and listen to each other to perform at the overall peak as an entire unit. The arts teach this in a way no other academic pursuit can.
@daviddempsey87213 жыл бұрын
We *could* do without music, and then we wouldn't live forever.... it would just seem like it was taking forever. Why should those children whose genius is music and performance not be supported to become all they can be? Music captures our cultures, groups, history and aspirations. More power to the music teachers who fight to give every kid an opportunity to find their unique music.
