I'm terminally sick, and alongside that I've been diagnosed with extreme depression and anxiety, extreme PTSD and severe night terrors . I listen to you,when it's a dark place day with my illness. Not only do you give me light to guide me out when only I see darkness , but you give me that little fight to see another day. I don't have many things I want to do on my bucket list, only I hope one day I finally get to see you play live. I'm sitting in my car as I wait for wife to come out of the hair salon. Right beside me in a doorway of an unused store at the moment are the belongings of a man who is living on the streets. Not far from him is another man who certainly has mental issues. Hollering at everyone as they walk by. A parks her car right beside him and gets out to take something to a shop. She stops and interacts with the man as he's yelling, says something and goes to the shop. She comes back out and looks at him and quickly walks to the car. I'm thinking she's making a hasty getaway. Well, was I ever wrong. She pops the trunk of her car pulls out a backpack and walks over to the man and gives it to him. That man had a smile on his face that would light the world. It was amazing to witness that.

I am 71 and am going through alot of things in my life. I grew up listening to rock in the 60s - 70s , then switched to country, then blues. I love the way you play and what you choose to play. I now have cancer that I have been fighting since 2020. I sit on my back porch by myself and listen to you to relax let my mind wander to the music. Thank you so much for what you do.

Hey, Thanks for the calm. I need it today 'cause for our 35th anniversary I decided the best gift that I can give my husband is to quit smoking. Today is the first day 'cause I didn't want to be dealing with that on Sunday. That's right, we got married on valentines day, at a justice of the peace, who looked at me and said, 'looks like y'all made it just in time." One friends kid was screaming, "i gotta pee" through most of it and the other friend was freaking out with all the law enforcement constantly passing by in the hallway. Oh man.. My daughter wasn't able to fall asleep until she was about 3 without listening to this song .. Was trying to get her to sleep one night, she stopped crying, and nodded right off when this song came on the stereo real low.. Tried it the next night and it worked again. Night after night for years lol.. It bugged me back then.. Hearing the same song on repeat each night lol but now.. It holds a very dear spot in my heart. Love this cover man. Now...
