7:27 i appreciate someone said it I did in the heights a few years ago and where I live we got really lucky and 98% of our cast was Latinx except for our Benny and sonny and a few ensamble members and I feel we were able to put out a great show and I do respect when theaters try their best to respect the culture but it will never turn out the way you want it. 7:55 ok so there was this one kid at my audition let’s call the frog because that’s closest to me and part of the audition for the musical was to sing infringe of everyone and frog got up on stage (note this is my first audition frog is a sophomore and has done this before) and frog puts on the song they r singing to and messes up and then re does it messes up again and redoes it again this happened like 8 more times till frog finally Said that they got it right and bite here is frog doing an amazing job with one of the leads (I’m not salty I was just a bit annoyed at all the tries)

hey! I was just wondering if it’s normal for your throat to hurt after belting, I’m preparing for my first audition next week and want to know if it’s normal for it to hurt :)

If it’s hurting then something you’re doing is not good ☹️ but drink lots of water and don’t belt anymore i reccomend honestly next just going on to KZbin and watching tutorials on how to belt healthily OR how to “mix sing” healthily
