'Ideational Metafunction' helps us form ideas about our day-to-day experiences in life. We see many things. We observe many shades of life. We feel affected by them. We need to form our own opinion of what is happening around us. Our own idea of the perception of the experiences we have gone through or going through. Without 'Ideational Metafunction', our mind is vacant of any idea of our own reflection or perception of the world. Your ideas and perceptions of the same thing may differ from my ideas and perception of the world, and so on...Hope you understand the concept. Thank you for posing such a beautiful question.

Thank you very much for posing such a beautiful question. First, "Similarities between Textual and Ideational": Language is common to both in perceiving the "created text" as well as' outside real experience'. Second, Similarities between Textual and Interpersonal: In this respect, language is the centre of communication between the text and the day-to-day interactions. Third, Similarities between Interpersonal and Ideational: Language works as intermediary between the personal experiences of life and the outside world. Having explained that, I would like to state that understating the conceptual difference between the three terms, it is better to grasp the 'differences' between each of them than that of getting to the 'similarities'. 'Similarities' do not add to the depth of comprehending the concept. However, I am thankful to you for providing me an opportunity to engage with you intellectually.
