From Hallmark '87: "Severe weather patterns observed from a child's perspective. Narvon, Pennsylvania, 2003"

As someone who as a child got _irrationally_ freaked out by thunderstorms, this got under my skin ngl.

especially the warnings that came on the tv and radio. so nostalgic but so eerie.

I think this is one of the greatest ambient/vaporwave albums ever! No joke.

I completely agree. I can feel it every time I listen, it's like a journey. And to drive in the mornings when it's misty out

This feels like a darker version of how I saw storms as a child. I was obsessed with them; any time a severe setup was coming, I had to see it. I loved thunder and huge clouds. I still have to go out and watch storms come in or pass by. A lot of nostalgia and memories came through while listening to this. Such lovely composition from Hallmark '87 as always.

I was actually the same growing up. Tho i was both fascinated and terrified of storms but i always loved to just observe them

Signalwave artists are more of producers than musicians but yes he is one of the best.

kinda trippy to hear EAS warning in a signalwave track

I agree. It is a pretty but scary album at the same time isn't it?

it is slightly unsettling. but is more serene than that.

These albums I found through the "Wave/Vapor/Soft" subgenre videos plus with all the music genres and subgenres icebergs, I'm these glad I found this music due to the icebergs, they're so enjoyable with a THC concentrate vaporizer and just being able to meditate to these works of art in the world of wavy music 🎶 🎨 ❤️

The track called Mist hits the mark for me, I think just for that song alone is worth getting the album.

One issue i have with this album is that it samples EAS alerts that use the newer "Paul" voice. The age demographic is for those that grew up hearing the "Tom" voice on their radios or televisions.

Hallmark '87 is my fav single wave artist, even have this album in cassette. Great stuff!

This kind of reminds me of this one specific storm back when i was in middle school. I saw the alert that a severe t-stormwas approaching from the west and just off in the distance i could see the edge of it. I sat watching it as it got closer and closer Before long the cell was looming over my house and the streaks of rain were now only a mile away. I remember feeling so much anxiety but also excitement and awe to see what this storm would bring. And this album captures all those feelings and takes me back to that day. Also by coincidence i found this as another storm was approaching my town later in my life

I'm obsessed with this one! I love trying to place which twc promos and shows the samples are from. The EAS inclusion is great! So far I have: Track one: interstitial from "The Enemy Wind" Track two: "The Weather Channel, for everything you do!"

This is a vibe. It's like being in a storm while disasosiating

This is so true, i'd like to imagine that you're alone in a underground panic room tuning to a weather report while waiting out a potentially dangerous storm heading towards your home. Especially for track 1 and 2.

Man this record is dope, thanks for sharing! It's super listenable and imo it holds its own with some of the classic ambient vaporwave projects out there.
