They ticked me off during the interview. They were completely unprofessional. Yeah, attack the survivor of a serial killer verbally, and point out their obvious PTSD + Survivor's guilt. Drag her through the coals she wasn't able to move past several people she knew and loved died. So that in turn affected all her relationships going forward. We know mental health wasn't taken seriously back then, plus it's a small town, so we know she didn't get the mental help she needed. Luckily Karen was born when they started taking this much more seriously and was taken away. But this only worsened Laurie's mental state and now she was in isolation with nothing but her bad mental health to make her obsession worse. So, yeah. I was cheering for Laurie when she kicked them out.

You’re exactly right. I think those characters are perfect commentary on “true crime” fanatics who obsess over serial killers while turning the victims/survivors stories into a commodity. Dozens of true crime podcasts and KZbin channels operate the same way as in the movie. It’s a greedy, obsessive, selfish thing to do and the characters reflect that.

I went and saw this on the evening of the 31st when it came out. I showed up to the cinema around 2 hours early with a portable DVD player and my copy of the original, and watched that immediately before going in. That experience was unlike anything else.

@@AlastorsShadowDemon WHY - because all 3 sitcoms are HILARIOUS, awesome, pure enterteinment, yeah sure they all got cancelled on cliffhanger but so many amazing shows get cancelled and at least I would for sure still watch them because they are awesome shows, why deprive yourself of something amazing just because you know the ending wont be perfect and it will be a cliffhanger which sucks but up until the last episode you would enjoy the ride! If you like the show to begin with! But like most shows it takes a few eps to really get into the show since usually the beginings are pretty slow and boring compared to the rest of the show! At least that is how I see it! :)

In case your gonna watch the other films here are the timelines The first one goes Halloween(1978). then Halloween 2(1981) then Halloween 4 the return of Michael Myers(1988) then Halloween 5 the revenge of Michael Myers (1989) then Halloween 6 the curse of Michael Myers (1995) H20 timeline goes Halloween 1(1978 Then Halloween 2(1981) Then Halloween h20(1998) Then Halloween resurrection(2002) The next one goes Halloween(1987) Halloween(2018) Halloween kills(2021) Halloween ends(2022) The next goes is the reboot timeline which goes Halloween(2007) Then Halloween 2(2009 Halloween 3 season of the witch(1982) has nothing to do with Michael as the Halloween films we’re going to be anthology films so they made Halloween(1978) but people liked Michael so much they made Halloween 2(1981) which was going to be the last film that had Michael in then they would continue the anthology but people grew so attached to Michael that without him the film was not received well so he returned in Halloween 4

The timeline is, well, carpenter didn't want a Halloween 2 but was forced to write a script. With the script is when he made them brother and sister. Everyone hated that idea. So, Halloween h20 is a direct sequel to Halloween 2 doing away with 3-6. Jamie Lee Curtis thought h20 was the end and she killed Micheal, but then resurrection happened so she asked to be killed off. Then, Halloween 2018 is a direct sequel to the very first Halloween ignoring 2 where they were brother and sister.
