Fun fact scary movie was actually the original title of Scream but they decided to go with scream. Scary movie is honestly funny asf which parodies scream, I know what you did last summer, the Blair witch project, the matrix, the sixth sense, the usual suspects, and Dawsons creek.

Scary Movie is one of the greatest parody movies of all time. It was something new fresh, unique, inventive, stylish, cool, edgy, hip, and updated due to it's witty and clever dialogue and humor, comedic moments, and performance's by the cast. It was decent. To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old. 😍😎💯👍

I highly recommend you watch some of the movies referenced in this, especially The Exorcist since you said you’re too scared to watch it. That would be epic. Note the second film is covering a completely different genre from slasher films so it may help to see the films it's based on. Also skip 3-5 because the Wayans had nothing to do with them.

Great reaction! The first time i watched this about 20 years ago, when i saw the what happened when Bobby came i was laughing for about 5 minutes. I recommend you check out the sequels, most are pretty good and go into other areas mostly of horror parody, but other films too in the odd scene. I also recommend you watch I Know What You Did Last Summer and you'll better understand a few scenes in this one.

16:20 i remember that i watched both Scream and Scary movie when i was a kid, like 9 or 10 something like that, and i spent a lot of time without watching it again, and i genuinely mixed both of them in my head, like it was just one movie and when i watched scream again as a teenager i was like very confused and like, "wait i thought Dewey was like mentaly deficient, where's the scene where the killer tries to hide in the house'', etc
