I agree with you both he doesn’t just talk about movies he’s entertaining us the reason I love this channel is because not only are his reviews accurate but the characters and world he invites us into each video just always wants me coming back for more and I’m super suprised that he’s unfortunately not as big of a channel as some mediocre reviews channels that just chat a load of shit in front of a screen for 10 minutes to get that sweet revenue. So underrated. huge fan.

He and Debra Hill created Halloween, they had their fun, now they're letting others have it. They did their part. If others mess it up, that's on the other folks (hee hee).

I love the unpredictability of Michael in that long take, and he interacts with the baby, he’s already killed a kid, so the audience doesn’t know if he’s gonna kill the baby or not, it’s fantastic suspense, and a very underrated scene.

The return of Boots to Reboots and it's glorious!!! This was a well thought out review and your criticisms were fair and not over the top like other dumbasses and I agree to yours, That suggestion you made about Laurie beckoning Michael to come and get her would've gotten a better reception. I might've been surprised and terrified by the reveal but I understand why many hated it for good reasons. This to me felt like a true return to Haddonfield and the terror that is Michael Myers the music was great, the cinematography is beautifully shot and feels like the season of Halloween, James Jude Courtney has got to be my favorite performance of this silent killer. I went to see this film with my older sister because she used to scare me with the original and gotten traumatized by it, so I said in a playful manner "now it's time for me to scare you" 😈 We loved it and were scared shitless, thank you for this review Andy and I hope to see more of Maniacal Cinephile and Boots to Reboots. Also I'm going to get some friends of mine to subscribe to your channel. 😊👍👍

After rewatching again 2 years after the release and following the sequel titled “Evil Does Tonight” Absolutely fabulous that Andy’s called the “there’s no real reason for Michael to go after her.” Proving yet again why Andy is the absolute best on the tubes, both KZbin and Redtube. I didn't hate it, it was just ok. Its H20 mixed with Halloween's greatest hits. You cant do anything else with this character other than return & kill, which is why I preferred the anthology idea.

I felt that the first third, where Michael is in the asylum and then he follows the podcast people, was really good and atmospheric. It was really spooky, but after that, I just couldn't suffer the characters. Laurie was the only good one, I thought.
