It is truly sad that we are loosing so many historical horror landmarks. Movies we grew up watching and it’s eroding away or being torn down for mall’s and Starbucks. Wish we could go back just for a short time to relive GEN X glory days.

I think that one of your greatest pieces of magic is what we don’t see on camera: the research, the talking to neighbors, owners, and other invested people to collect information and obtain permission for visitation, etc. for the 20 minutes we see on screen, there has to be a ridiculous amount of hours invested in research, production, post production, travel, etc. Thank you for this herculean effort and allowing us to live vicariously through your work.

@@demonoid7469 It would have been interesting to have had the original Halloween as a stand-alone film, without the second one (as much as I like Halloween II). Halloween III remains, to this day, a very underrated movie. I can understand people expecting Michael back in '82, then being disappointed or just plain confused. However, today people seem to still hold that against this movie. I first saw it decades ago, when I rented it on VHS, with very little knowledge about it other than the fact that it was unrelated to the other films. I enjoyed it a lot and wondered for years if I was the only person who liked it. I have the novelization for this one as well as an original theatrical poster for it, which I need to get framed so I can hang it up. Great movie, great music. Love the atmosphere of the film, too. There is that weird paranoia once they get to Santa Mira, where it seems somebody is always watching them. Excellent stuff and it remains extremely rewatchable. A top 5 choice of movies to watch for Halloween, in my opinion.
