Halloween Clearance Hunting! | Target, Spirit Halloween, and At Home on November 1st!!

Feeling the sadness!! Our last farewell to our Halloween. I'm so happy to have found your channel this year and to have my first At Home. It's wonderful to have our first glimpse in the Summer! I am shocked to see things I preordered at Target in your clearance section and I would have snatched that snowglobe too 😵 I won't go to any stores until January now lol

I have a theory that what happened this year re: lack of Halloween decor, is that companies would have been making those things right when everything first shut down, and so if they were closed or had super reduced staff, they just couldn't produce as much as normal. And then when everything started opening back up, it was time to switch gears into producing for Christmas. Who knows if that's accurate, but that's what I'm thinking... Also not sure if you have a World Market near you, but they have some mid-century modern style house luminaries and ornaments that are SO cute.

Check the Goodwills near the Target store. Mine had ALL of the Target Halloween leftovers from this year. It was crazy to see everything they had donated!

Only found at couple things at Spirit and even found a crystal ball at TJ Maxx, but my favorite steal were a pair of the yard flamingo skeletons from Wal-Mart! I noticed it too. I was looking for Halloween decor since September thru October and I think the stores did not order that much decor to put out? So sad 😞. I am excited for your Christmas haul and decor, it’s not too early! It will sell out! 🤗

Hi Midge and happy November! You sound a little down. Halloween was really great this year. I enjoyed it very much. I had my decorations up since September and I loved looking at everything. I too have been taking down and putting my Halloween decorations away. I'm on day three. My Hubby had to go buy me more bubble wrap. I wrap all my glass, ceramic and fragile items in bubble wrap. It is time consuming, but it keeps all my items safe. I will be decorating for Christmas by the end of this week. I have tons of items to put out. You found some great Halloween items. Yes, it's Christmas in all the stores now. It was fun sharing Halloween with you. Your videos were a added bonus to my Halloween. Just watched your Spirit Halloween haul 2021 and had to watch this! I never make it out on November 1 for Halloween goodies but I agree, it is Black Friday for us. Won’t make it this year either because I’m moving on Halloween but cheers to 2022🎃🎃

Halloween for me was not that good . Not only that, but I lost my cat Winnie on the 11th of October. I was so excited about Halloween in the beginning, but I really love Christmas. Nothing is like Christmas for me. I like Thanksgiving as well, but Christmas is such a special holiday for me, for its more than just a holiday.

My Target cleared out all of Halloween sections and relocated it to the back of the store (1 isle) and had already put out Christmas the week before Halloween. 😭😭😭 We didn't even get a Spirit this year, so it was a big bummer all the way around. But, I'm glad you found some gooies at Spirit and said hey for all of us!

I feel the same way after Halloween!!!! Like the spooky magic has flown away with the spirts and witches!!!! I also went to several stores but no luck....... as if I need to add to my 25 tubs of Halloween decor. I was so sad to retire my witches hat I wore in my videos too. At my Target literally all the "decorations" were none existent. They only had costumes & candy on clearance. Don't know if they were bought out or thrown into boxes.

I had to refrain from going to the clearance aftermath dash 🎯 in Minneapolis area people adore Halloween 👻 🎃 honestly even the Christian thrift store had 5 shelves of Halloween in sept and I went back end of sept and most of it was sold. The dollar tree 🌲 had the coolest 🧿 eye fake black and purple flowers and they sold in 7 stores around oct 1st. I trued to make more Pinup like hair flower 🌺 and they sold out. So what other things People get? I’m heading to Poshmark for more Halloween for the rest of season.

I picked up some things at spirit for later costumes and some of the It decor I’d been eyeing since the stores opened and I also managed to get the headless horseman statue from Marshall’s half off on the 30th. But you’re super right. The Halloween stuff was much less this year.

I’m not necessarily sure if they just put Halloween away but we have a whole area of drive up orders which is “reserved” basically, so once an order is fulfilled it’s taken off the floor.

I was definitely out...but my town has nothing! We dont have a target, I got a couple of things from walmart (which our walmart got one end cap of Halloween that wasn't costumes) I got kind of a lot from dollar general weirdly lmao. And then I hit walgreens... but that's all I've got. I wont get a chance to hit the big stores until later this week which is probably too late. Hitting lowes today

I didn't even bother, not much around here back in September or October. Sad because it's the only time of the year I can get Black Cat stuff. I wish I could have gone out more but didn't risk it. Online isn't the same (and the sales are garbage online) But next year, it will be Bigger and Better than EVER!!!!! But also Winter Halloween/spooky Christmas is going to happen because I couldn't really decorate for Halloween mid move.

At my Target, they had taken all the Halloween stuff (that was left) and moved it to the front of the store so unless someone thinks to check a unusual places in the store, they might not find anything.

Funny how my target didn’t put out Halloween until like three weeks before Halloween but CHRISTMAS?! They put out all the Christmas stuff last week lol all the Halloween stuff was gone before Halloween day besides like...the costumes..there’s no way they sold everything. They HAD to have put it away for next year. There’s no way. My spirit, however, still had so much stuff for clearance!

I knew that if I didn't buy certain things - all my Palmistry hands, gold moth Fortune sign, the Gothic skull arch, and Phrenology skull (Michael's exclusively) - right away, I would not have gotten them at all. I didn't get the light up Palmistry table top sign though, I waited too long on that guy. I love all Halloween decor but I prefer my purchases to be more lifestyle decor (for my lil' black Gothy heart). Hobby Lobby, with being a little more wholesome, I only found some distressed carved ravens, these two really simple but nice boys! Hobby Lobby is rather disappointing for Halloween. I did buy the blue and black witch from Home Goods as she is a beautiful lady and my only true "Halloween looking" decor item. I bought several plates from the John Derian collection at Target though the sky and clouds platter was out - I was able to get the skull and crossbones and the black and white skellie in the forest platters. THANK YOU for introducing me to his line, I had NO idea before your video! I wanted the skeleton pillow but even now, he's still pretty pricey at $51 bucks. I don't need him, I just want him! There were black lace mantel and table covers, and the large golden skellie wall piece but they were sold out as I was checking out on JoAnn's website because they were nicely marked down a few days ago. JoAnn's emailed an apology for having items show in stock when they were not but I lost out. I didn't want to shop in person as most stores were out of everything and I wasn't going to drive 50+ miles for decor. World Market had some cool stuff and specifically tarot card items! I got a beautiful cream and black bowl with tarot designs, some tarot coasters, and some gorgeous tarot tumblers (though it's a set of three, like wha.. ?). The 99 Cent Store had a couple things, I found a pretty wall flower skull piece that reminds me very much of pricier flower skull artwork and a cute Palmistry sign. Plus, of course, quite a few candles from Bath & Bodyworks, Hobby Lobby, and Fragrant Jewels (yay sparkly jewelry!). I am thrilled with the items I was able to get, my wallet's crying though, lol!
