i think its because the orphans were "off screen" when it happened, so they didn't have to describe the process EDIT: they said on their dead space stream that the kids were named after real kids they knew would be watching, and they didn't want to upset them

I mean, I'm not at all surprised that it went to pure chaos since I'm used to them, particularly Dob, Egbert, and Corazon, just going with whatever pops in their heads first.

Someone mentioned under a similar comment that these two were named after children in the audience. Killing unnamed NPCs off-screen was fine, but graphically describing the murder of two audience members may have upset them, so Johnny decided not to risk it.

@@torgranael That was a coincidence. Johnny almost certainly did not know that those specific kids were in the audience. Although, TBF, when you name an NPC with even a vaguely common human name, there is a probability that someone in the audience has that name...

@@andrewb1921 No, someone asked about that during their Halloween livestream and Johnny said that they’d been introduced to two kids before and decided to name the NPC’s after them. They said something along the lines of how they’d decided that while killing a bunch of unnamed and unseen orphans off screen was one thing, killing a child onscreen while their tiny namesake was probably in the audience was another.
