that groove is downright refreshing. Light like Jobim, that breezy air in it. The vocals and what you do with the vocals sits well on top of there and inside there. Very Very Very clean and smooth voice... very cool. That bass and drum work is so dialed in. That GUITAR is frickin heaven. The piano and all of the instruments are done well. All of this is done very well. Well recorded, mixed well. The balance is great. The pull and push of emotion in the delivery is cool too as the song develops, as it unfolds, especially when it hits in the second verse 2:00 "honey honey honey..." how the harmonies increase. Yeah, love all of this. Reminds me of my favorite dive bars in Cali, the vibe.

my goodness this comment, thank you so much! I really appreciate the detail :) The guitar and drums were recorded by my friends, and they did a great job helping me. Thanks for the comment on the mix - it was my very first mix officially out on streaming platforms and I was unsure how it would turn out, but I think it turned out well!
