@@1986Cochran Kills 18 ends. I love that firefighter scene, so brutal and ruthless, heck, the whole movie is but, my favorite kill in the franchise is Cameron… it’s the way he toys with Allyson, “you don’t want me to kill him!” “Ok”. “Nah, just playing!” *snap

I didn't want a happy ending and I also wanted Laurie to die. So that Alison could carry the torch if we ever got any sequels. They should have maybe left it more open ended with Cory also. But just my opinion. You lads made some great shouts on the movie. 🔥

I had issues with all 3 movies all 3 movies are really good. Maybe it doesn't work great as a trilogy but Ends is not deserving of the hate it gets.

I remember seeing this in the theater and not liking it. Re-watched it today after listening to this podcast and it’s a pretty good movie.

I fuckin love this trilogy, I'm torn between Kills andEnds as my favorite. Here are some answers btw: The importance of the radio tower was that it was a symbol for Corey and also a source of dread for the town. That's why Corey cut out his tongue live on air Michael overhears that Corey is a killer, light bulb goes off. Instead of food, he finally finds a replacement. Laurie knew Corey was watching her again (the scene earlier outside the house foreshadows this) that's why they show the house from his perspective as he thinks he's stalking her (not realizing she's also a shape) the drink in front of the window, it was all a ruse to trick Corey. Remember at Jeremy's house, Corey threatened to kill her unless she kills herself. flipping her line earlier back on her "you gonna do it or you want me to?" Laurie didn't need prior knowledge about the airplane, its there at the house when she visits. She throws it to fly away from the room... when Corey begins to ramble, she does her "shape" disappearing trick, getting up from thchair, grabbing the airplane and leaving out through the window. He talks for a good 20 seconds without looking back at her, once he does, he realizes she's gone. There was never any connection outside of Michael wanting to create a new "Boogeyman " to haunt Haddonfiled after he's gone. No evil transfer, just training a successor. But since he double crossed his teacher, school is over. I have a full breakdown of Ends as well if yo guys are interested. ill leave the link below in case. I see what they are trying to do with Corey, the nature/nurture debate, Michael being born bad, Corey becoming bad due to his circumstances, but they way mental ailments work is there is a genetic coding that pre exists but is not expressed, kind of like how if you have a hereditary propensity for Schizophrenia, it will go up 100% if you live in a city. I would have liked Corey to have been built at least from the 2nd movie, making his and Laurie's granddaughter's relationship more natural. There was an ending idea where Laurie kills Michael at the house while Corey, who is already dead at the radio station, immediately comes back to life, sitting up like Michael, and his evil changed its shape. Personally, I would have liked Michael to have killed Laurie and they bleed together on that kitchen table, and granddaughter never comes back. My super secret ending would be when Michael is in the shredder he somehow grabs Laurie like Carrie and brings her with him hahaha, its been a great month, thanks again guys, one of my favorite podcasts.

There is no reason or space for Corey in the story earlier than Ends. He's a result of everything that happens not a cause. With the focus as a direct sequel, establishing Laurie and her family, there's no room for him in 2018, Kills being the same night, there's even less room. His purpose doesn't come into play until a year after, putting him in the story earlier has no affect on the narrative as it needed to be an outsider that fulfilled his role. Somebody connected to the main players already, wouldn't work in those shoes. That ending idea also wouldn't work because without Corey, Michael has no reason to be at Laurie's house
