Enjoyed the video Joey ! Hope you guys had a great and safe trip to Piedmont. Dont know about there but here in SC the rut has been very spotty. Have seen lots of small bucks chasin but have only seen 2 gooduns trailin keeps warming up and cooling down back and forth and that dont help. Anyway Thanks for sharing! Just checked your FB for video then I got the YT notification. Nothing like some ham, bacon & sausage with your cackle berries. That little buck sure was looking around. Up where I live in Cartersville they’re in lockdown with the does. I went from seeing at least two a day hit on the roads to nothing, not even seeing em in the fields. There will be another rut somewhere around 28 days from the middle of this past week and I’m hoping I get my 2nd target buck before then tho and I’ll be done in Ga. I just moved here a year ago from Bama a hour and a half away and the deer don’t run there until late December to early January so imma try to get my 3 over there as well.

I really enjoyed the video brother Joey thank you for bringing me along again. You made that bolt-action shotgun sound like you was in a dove field. Awesome hunt Joey..got 2 deer on halloween too....finally got moved into our house and just for giggles put a camera out and corn to see if anything was using the woods back there and got a whopper of a buck on it....can only bow hunt my land so hopefully can get a shot at him....take care and be safe in the woods and God Bless

Great audio those shots and shell cycles pumped me up. Gun season starts tomorrow morning where I'm at. My son and I are doing a ground blind in a dog hunting WMA. Could be a turkey shoot I was told dogs will be hitting the ground in the morning.
