Summer 1998. I remember following the news of production wherever I could throughout the fall of 1997. I recall seeing a photo of Jamie on set, and it was just so intriguing at the time: the original Laurie Strode was coming back to the screen, we were getting a brand new Halloween film that was going to be modern and contemporary. Up to that point, we were being inundated with the return of old-fashioned slasher movies like Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, it was so great to be getting a new Michael Myers movie.

Noticed a error. This movie skips 4 to 6. In the 4th we hear about laurie dying in a car accident. But this ignores the 4 to 6 timeline however on the wall of Marion's bedroom there was the headline halloween survivor killed in car accident and there is a photo of laurie on the article. Since this ignores 4 to 6 why would that article be there?

You're supposed to ignore everything between the ending of part 2 and the beginning of h20. Thats what i do. I also ignore everything after h20. Parts I, II, and H20 are the best and most consistent ones. It was pointless to make Halloween movies without Jamie Lee Curtis playing Laurie Strode, Michael Myer's sister. Anything else might be fun to watch but its not canon.
