Hell yeah. Always here for Underwater love. Also, I’m glad I wasn’t the only person not completely bowled over by Late Night With the Devil. One of the things I found funny was the endless string of production companies at the beginning. It got to the point that people in the audience at the theater started laughing out loud every time a new one popped up.

When Evil Lurks was one of the most intense horror films ive ever seen! one of my favs this year was In A Violent Nature omg i love everything about it, such a relaxing watch w a surprising amount of lore! felt like a video game gettin from point A to point B with side missions inbetween! i cant recommend it more for gamers, so good
@Drift0r3 ай бұрын
I agree with you on both points. If you cut 15min out of In A Violent Nature so that it was just the walking in the woods, it would still a great relaxing ASMR movie

‘I saw the tv glow’ is a top 5 movie of the year so far for me, from it’s stellar performances and soundtrack, probably one of the best monologue of the year, on top of the most dread inducing ending

Okay so Suitable flesh had me looking like a crazy person for putting it into the hat at our party. It got picked and none of us knew what it was about but I saw it on this video. I didn't know the people well so it was funny and everyone kept joking. We had to turn down the volume since we watched it outside a few times. Thanks for the laughs

I watched In A Violent Nature earlier this year, kill scenes were so good but the rest of the plot was almost nonexistent. Great cinematic shots and I agree its very slow.

Definitely give smile 2 a watch if you haven't seen the first Long legs for some reason the way they portrayed the main killer felt cheap and cheesy Abigail was really really good Check out bodies bodies bodies, a great twist and a modern fun horror comedy, honestly really good If you haven't seen the movie the witch, it's a great slow burn I'll definitely check out some of your recommendations with my girlfriend! If you haven't seen any of the hereditary, midsommar, requiem for a dream, or another great one is climax Def recommend

I felt like Long legs had really good cinematography, but the movie had horrible pacing and the characters felt so flat/one-dimensional

Smile 2, can't recommend this movie enough. It has amazing tension build up and some of the best jump scares I've seen in recent history. If you like horror movies this one should be on top of your list this Halloween

Unfortunately, I detested 'When Evil Lurks'. I thought the setup was quite intriguing, but it never delivered on its premise and got continuously worse for me. By the way, if you haven't watched 'One Cut Of The Dead' yet, I highly recommend it.

@@Drift0r There's probably not much you haven't watched, though you might have missed 2024's 'Exhuma'. I assume you've already watched the old Universal and Hammer horror movies. Have you also watched older European horror films, such as 'Hour of the Wolf', 'The Wicker Man', 'Santa Sangre', 'La Belle et la Bête' and 'Diabolique', or newer stuff like Titane?

I'd put Come and See on the list. It's not a scary movie in the traditional sense. it's a ww2 movie based on the eastern front. The shock and horror of seeing german atrocities inflicted on civilians is just.. scary.

Yeah it’s a great movie but I don’t think it’s a good fit for spooky season, too depressing
