I love that Universal paid proper tribute to the “underrated” monsters this year! Universal Monsters: Unmasked is exactly my type of house. And if anyone ever gets scared by the Phantom, just remember his name canonically from the original novel is Erik.

This is honestly my favorite episode every year that Craig and Ryno put out. You can always feel their love and passion for this event during these episodes. I also love their HHN recap and final ranking at the end of the event.

I think it was difficult for them to do a house and story for The Last Of Us (as in the TV show) because the show was so emotional and it was impossible to translate into the house which just ends up being jump scares like all the others. Megan is a great movie. It's meant to be campy and is!

I don’t tend to like comparing Orlando and Hollywood’s houses because I feel like it’s kind of redundant and they each usually have their bright points, but I have to say storytelling and layout wise for Chucky and Last of Us they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Especially for Last of Us, they had Joel and Ellie all throughout the house and even at the start before you entered in, and made it very clear the level story was they come to a fedra station, they fight through the clickers, and then they leave and continue their journey like the game. Orlando’s isn’t bad but I wish we had more of that story and character dialogue shining through. Oh and small edit; from what I heard Metallic wouldn’t allow them to pretend to play the guitar for the song on the trailer. Not sure if that’s true but it would make sense given how some musicians are about their copyrights and images.

New York will take you to stranger things, exorcist, dueling dragons, and Yeti. Richter’s will take you to Chucky which I would pass on unless that’s a must maze for you. And Springfield will take you to Last of Us, darkest deal, and Dr. Oddfellow. Blood moon is on its own near the minions attraction and Universals monsters is on its own near E.T.
