This was such a fun retrospective!😃 Here’s the scoop on her and her husband. Jamie Lee Curtis tells the story of how her and her husband Christopher Guest really met. She’s talked about it over the years. She told her friend Debra Hill that she was going to marry that man and then pointed to his picture in Rolling Stone. Then a message was delivered to him through business managers but he didn’t call. Then months later they ran into one another and had a funny awkward moment about it and then after that he called her. Then maybe 5 or so months later they got married.😃

Dr. Samuel Loomis was the real main character of these films.. especially the sequels. 😂 But seriously, love the original 'Halloween' movie franchise. I was only a few months old when the original debuted, but as I ascended into my pre-teen era, I became fascinated with horror.. John Carpenter's work in particular.

I'm in my early 40's and despite acknowledging the original is a superior film, H2 is my favorite horror movie. I had very trusting parents who had no problem recording the film off a local network for me to watch repeatedly as a kid. So of course this was the censored version, imagine how niave I felt as a young man buying the old bare bones widescreen DVD upon release and seeing the film as intended. For this reason I really appreciate recent releases including the TV version so satisfy my nostalgia. 😂

The first decent mask ever used after Halloween to was Rob Zombie in 2007 I can’t stand people who say how Halloween four is so good except for this or Halloween sex is being good except for that It’s like saying, the Godfather would be great except for all the Italians There is no excuse for that was the Michael Myers, four or five

I actually like Rob Zombie's Halloween for what it is, yes I prefer the mystique of Michael in the original films, but Zombie's take on the character is interesting in its own universe. Thanks so much for watching.

Halloween 1, 2 and 3 is a great trilogy. IMO they should have kept the anthology thing going, because after 3 the series falls off like a cliff. H4 feels like a made for tv film with its low quality grainy look and an awful mask. 5 was even worse. And 6 could have been great but the production was such a mess that the movie ended up being an editor’s nightmare. The producer’s cut is much better but has an awful ending. H20 is good, resurrection sucks. The Zombie ones are a different imagining so I don’t even really compare them. The DGG trilogy is a mixed bag for sure. But yeah, with 1, 2 and 3 they were on a roll. It all went to shit after 3.

There never was any 'anthology thing' to KEEP going. The original concept was a killer stalking babysitters on some generic night. It had nothing to do with Halloween. And when they DID try to tell another kind of story with 3, it was utterly anemic.

BEST sequel in the franchise, one of the best in general. Halloween DID NOT kick start the slasher genre. Texas chainsaw massacre, Black christmas, the town that dredded sun down, twitch of the death nerve. PSYCHO, PEEPING TOM, and the Gialo films ere all before it. the Slasher BOOM happened in 1980 and from there, thanks to Friday the 13th.

Friday the 13th was a ripoff of Halloween. Something the director, Sean Cunningham, even admitted to. And most Halloween fans believe Part 4 is the best of the sequels in the franchise. Halloween also made 70 million dollars at the box office, blowing those other films away.

I like Halloween Resurrection. Hey it's a slasher flick. At least it didn't turn Michael into an incest obsessed pedophile like 4, 5, & 6 did. Those movies are garbage. It's understandable why everyone wanted to retcon them out of existence.

In all honesty, I haven't seen Ressurection in ages, I saw it once back in the day but barely remember much of it. I'm no fan of 5 & 6 either but I actually like 4. Thanks so much for watching, much appreciated!

It is a fun popcorn movie. Part 5 is the same way. Neither the worse of the series.
