I love the score (probably my favorite in the series. My favorite track is Unkillable), the brutality, the social commentary, the cinematography, the performances from Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Dylan Arnold, Robert Longstreet, Kyle Richards and James Jude Courtney, love the fast pacing, and the flashbacks especially Dr. Loomis props to the makeup department. Halloween Kills isn’t perfect but it will always be a top tier Halloween film in my eyes and I look at it as a love letter to 80’s slashers. As for the dumb decisions from the characters I didn’t mind because ppl are actually that dumb irl too especially what I’ve seen in the the last few years. I thought Karen’s death was fitting for the film and to amp up the stakes because I thought H18 played it too safe with the Strodes. Kills is my 5th favorite in the franchise and I give it a B+

Love the New Trilogy!!! Watched Kills 20 or so times in total a Great Movie like Halloween 2018 is and Excited to see Ends.

This movie wasn't terrible, but compared to H18, it wasn't very good. My problem with this movie is that everyone in this movie minus Laurie and Michael were complete idiots. Almost every decision in this movie is like the characters left their brain at home.

Halloween kills was one of my favorite theater experiences lol when the mob circled Michael and started beating him down I actually got worried and I looked over at my wife and said "if I have to watch Michael die in the same year I watched james bond die idk if I'll be able to drive home"

Yeah, the things that are good in this movie are really good! But the bad things are super cringe-worthy. I think the scene where Lonnie saw Michael behind the hedges was cut because it happened after Lonnie and the other kids were told thet a murderer was on the loose. He walked closer to where he saw Michael disappear, which is something you probably wouldn’t do after being told a murderer was on the streets.

Halloween Kills......okay, let me unpack this. I liked that legacy characters that were brought back, but I felt their characters were short changed to be brought in to just be killed off. The kills are incredible and I think this movie really excels with living up to it's name. Tommy Doyle's "evil ends tonight" line made me cringe, and it was oversaid one too many times. How did no one pick that up while editing? I wish Allyson's friends were a little more developed so we were more invested in their kills. I felt the middle of this movie, the loooooooong hospital sequence was too lengthy; I liked Karen luring Michael to the trap on the middle of the street. The 78 flashback was pretty awesome; I enjoyed the movie, I felt it was a "solid enough" sequel to Halloween 2018, however, what I can't wrap my head around for the next movie is why/how does everyone think Laurie is "okay" considering we leave off the movie with Karen's murder. I'm excited to see Ends, and I look forward to your review. Thanks for an awesome channel

Apparently I'm in the minority with this particular sequel, because I was extremely disappointed with it. There are so many logic jumps you have to accept with this movie, and I feel like the legacy characters were brought back just to die. It has a lot of good parts, don't get me wrong, but overall I put it squarely in the middle of all the Halloween movies. EDIT: I literally just watched it again tonight, this time the extended version. Having the disappointment out of the way on my first viewing, it's actually a much better movie than I gave it credit for. I'm still not happy with the way it played out and the end with the mob is still ridiculous, but I actually like the extended version's ending much better.

While you can praise the music, the cinematography, and costuming/FX until you’re *blue* in the face, you CAN NOT deny that this movie has some of the worst writing and one liners in any Halloween film. Yes it’s a love letter to every slasher movie and yadda yadda yadda but you had people WILLINGLY putting themselves in Michael’s path. One victim just straight up shot herself. When the victims don’t think, they’re not characters. And they’re not scenes. It’s just a montage of kills.

This entire trilogy was a mistake. It wasn’t needed. Halloween will always be the original and the 1981 sequel. Halloween kills doesn’t portray the Shape as he truly is. I have no excitement for Ends.

@@Sebastian04223 well he spend 40 years dormant so you’d think he wouldn’t be interested in stalking at that point and just satisfying the itch to kill, and in kills he’s just simply pissed off cause they almost got the best of him so he’s got to get his lick back. The ends trailer literally shows him stalking again and being creepy, y’all just want the same movie over and over. “Make him stalky and creepy” what if homie don’t feel like being stalky or creepy at the time, maybe he just wants to kill for the sake of killing
