Love u guys!! Just do whatever you want and slow down and spread them out if you need to. 1 vid every month or 2 or more just have fun and do it 100% what you want and have fun. I have many other hobbies much bigger and more involved than manga so I know how it feels. I have made many changes to my channel just to put more time into other hobbies and its worked out great! I had to adjust my mindset to only have fun and not care about numbers or ranks etc. Cause sometimes that was hard for me. I know the "manga boom" may be over but if its just for views/likes etc it will never be fun if it feels like work or a job. You said exactly what I stopped doing with hyped or pushed manga etc I just read ONLY what I really want and thats it ezpz. Remember you guys make these BIG awesome vids but even a 5-10 min quick vid works just as well and feels less burnout. I make 3-4 vids a month and in total they are less than 45 mins combined usually. Plus I film 2+ at a time so I can not worry or think about vids for 2-3 weeks each month LOL. If there is ever anything I can do to help or anything at all im always up in your tree. We all support you guys in whatever you do always!

Can’t deny my heart sank when hearing the news, but I get it. When a hobby starts to feel more like a job or obligation, it’s definitely time to take a step back and reassess how to go forward or else risk something like burn out and not wanting to do that thing ever again. Having more hobbies could also never be a bad thing; I fully support everyone dividing their time amongst as many things they enjoy as possible! (That being said, I’ve seen those board game posts on IG - I wish we had teleportation already too ‘cause they look like legit fun!) Enjoy your holidays, and know that I and many others will be here waiting patiently for when/if you wanna come back in whatever format you choose :) That being said, you guys went out with another banger! I love that you still fit in the Midnight Children review. As someone who doesn’t consume much horror content and has only the most basic knowledge about the legend/story of Dracula, it was really interesting to hear how the 70s comic differs from the 90s issues, and how the story’s been even more remolded in Midnight Children. It actually made me a bit more keen to pick it up, especially since it’s a rare 9/10 from both of you! Glad that the little bird Pun Pun saga and its found itself in new hands finally - hopefully “Ryan” will enjoy the story more than DW did! With MW getting more into romance novels, I recommend checking out the “Hi, I’m a Witch…” light novel! It’s 2 volumes complete, and I kinda enjoyed it a bit more than the manga adaptation (though I do think it’s only available digitally). Gosh thanks for that shout out at the end, it really took me by surprise lol I’m glad my long ramblings could bring some enjoyment ^^ I mean every word I’ve said - I’ve really enjoyed every minute of every video I’ve watched. The way you express your opinions, your candidness, ability to separate personal feelings from objectivity, and most of all the humor! (I will never get enough of that “what have I gotten myself into” look in MW’s eyes as DW/+Daughter makes those off-hand comments that build into tangents that just spiral further and further off-topic into a no man’s abyss…) Your content is golden, and I can’t express how much I look forward to watching them, even as I must split those Weeb Family Feature Films into several day watchings 😅 (On that note, as of now, I sadly have not received the postcard… I blame the local postal office’s reluctance to deal with anything international-related, but who knows? I’m holding out hope it’ll still magically appear one day) Also, I’m glad to hear you’ll still be posting your Weebie award winners on IG! No lie those are some of my favorite videos, so I’m happy they’re still be around in some form. Loved the ending to this video, bittersweet for sure. Aw, so sad to hear about the indefinite hiatus plan but you gotta do what is right for you! Hope you all can enjoy a bit of a break and keep exploring other hobbies while keeping up with manga on your own time/Instagram. I wanted to chime in to say that Rumiko Takahashi is releasing an artbook in December in Japan. I pre-ordered it on CDJAPAN and I am very excited for it. Regarding Tokyo Babylon, it does have BL elements in the story, but along with them the supernatural/societal situations Subaru especially is put in are really intriguing and impactful. (It's in my top 3 CLAMP works for sure and it's one I re-read every few years.) But - understand if it isn't on the priority list for your preferred reading at the end of the day. Hopefully this will not be the last video ever, but enjoy the time off from MangaTube regardless! (I still need to ship that Rose of Versailles merch..I will do this before Thanksgiving for sure haha.)

You guys have great personalities. if you made manga adjusent content id be down to watch. Another creator couple I've seen still put out content if they read nothing or bought nothing. The most common ones are review of the year and answering viewers questions. But the ones I like the most are family and previous jobs stories. In general this style works by the other person choosing what they think it's interesting about their partner, most people don't have the perspective of what is interesting about them. Another one I like is the random people you meet in the hobby, especially for people who attend events regularly. There are entire channels on just the event aspect of anime/manga culture.

Sad to hear this might be the end. I’ve really enjoyed the videos. I’ve actually been wondering when the next one was going to be coming out, haha. My wife loves reading romance, ask Mommy Weeb if she can start with Love on the Brain or if she should start with the first one in the series. DRCL was so good. Some of the art gave me goosebumps. Partly why light novels have long titles, or that it has become a thing, is due to many being self published on an Internet site ('let's be a novelist' for instance). And a description title is how you get noticed when all there is on the site is a list of titles.

I mainly read BL and enjoy it. I actually stumbled on Sekaiichi Hatsukoi (World’s Greatest First Love on Crunchyroll back in 2015 it was my first BL series ever then I went down a rabbit hole watching BL anime and reading BL manga in Japanese starting in 2017. Great haul and video as well. So Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation will be getting a manga adaptation as of Halloween/October 31st in Japan it was there is an official announcement on twitter about it. I might post about it here on KZbin soon it will be in Black and White like most other manga not like the full color manhua that is out already by Seven Seas.
