Hey there Matt. The Curse of Michael Myers was actually one of the 1st sequels I saw out of the series outside of Halloween way back when I was a teenager. And me personally, I kinda enjoyed it a bit. (I saw 4 & 5 years later) Yeah, granted the story was not exactly the best, but the gore and brutality was what drew me in. I love the scene where Michael massacres all the doctors in that hospital room. But yeah, it's not a perfect sequel, but it's entertaining for me. Great review as always.

They should have left Jason and Michael's origins of evil alone. Michael SHOULD not, be 'cursed' he should be like, possessed by pure evil or something. Because then he's truly unstoppable. Don't need to show it, we thought that was OBVIOUS.

This is actually my 4th fav out of the 10. I saw it in the theater back when I was 13. (Had my mom take me, lol) It holds a special place with me probably because of that. It has the best mask since the 1st IMO. I also think the Theatrical version is 1000x better than the Producer's Cut. Again I know I'm in the minority there, but the P-Cut is just plain silly IMO. They fixed it the best they could here. IDK, despit the dumb Thorn storyline, I quite like it!

I honestly consider part 6 to be one of the worst, if not, THE WORST sequel of the franchise. Why did they have to bring in the story about that stupid cult? The franchise DOES NOT need a plot with a cult of some man in black. They got Michael Myers and that's all they need for this series! And Michael Myers was totally out of bounds in this movie! I don't even want to imagine him raping his niece! That reason alone makes this the worst sequel.

Joe fucking Chapelle cut out a lot of Donald Pleasence’s scenes out of the theatrical cut because he found Loomis to be boring instead he wanted to show more scenes of Paul Rudd is a younger version of Dr. Loomis I’m surprise that Paul Rudd even had a career after this fucking movie but he went on years later stating that he hated being in this movie and playing his character so I guess I don’t feel alone in this at least I’m glad that he admitted that he hated doing what he was doing in this movie.

Matt I bought the Blu Ray box set just recently and I have to admit as crappy as this was it does look great on Blu Ray! The tv spots on the disc kept saying final confrontation with Michael Myers......really? I'm surprised Paul Rudd got work after this, Marianne Hagan sure as hell didn't lol! Did you see this in the theater because I did and as I walked out of the theater with my mom, I was like WTF? I like the gore better in this version even though I like the PC better.

also, if you followed the entire series you can see glimpses of the same cult of part 6 in part 3. it had the same theory, though Michael was severely injured. also, Michael is not a random slasher, his work is setup in timelines. Youre asking for an mysterious killer with no purpose, movies dont work like that man.

This film isn't near as bad as you are saying. Now Resurrection, THAT was terrible. At least this film was very dark and atmospheric, with a serious tone. Resurrection had that negroid Busta Rhymes doing kung fu on Michael Myers. I was disappointed when this first came out, but now I actually appreciate it. (Producer's Cut is better). The satanic druid rituals in the Producer's Cut are actually kind of frightening.

bob sizemore the idea of Halloween 3 is terrible. Firstly Halloween 3 had no Micheal Myers (that's stupid becuase the first two Halloween films were big box office successes partly because of him) secondly this Halloween 3 film ask us to think that Halloween costumes are scary? Piece of shit film, no. It's kinda bad but the producer's cut is better. For one, there were at least likable characters this time, unlike in the 5th one. The kills were more creative (especially John's, the abusive "John Goodman" type father) and the ending wasn't stupid and boring, unlike in the last film. Still, it's a bad entry, but so much better than 5.
