I live in an old-ish house in America (1940s), and have also been doing some renovations, mostly by myself. When the power shorted because of the saw I felt very seen. It's horrible, but it's also very nice to know I'm not the only one who has to stop projects right when I start because the power shorted and now my tools need to be replaced. Good luck! It's always one step forward, two steps back sometimes, but your house really does look amazing.

I can’t remember your boyfriend name but 👋 as well, my husband and I love to watch your videos especially when you are doing a renovation one, but we love you and hope that you’re doing well! The hall trim is so nice and I personally love raw wood, for me it would stay raw. You guys work so well together and you do one hell of a great job!! The blue in the front looks great and I think if you wanted to spray a final coat, would it make a difference? Hey Ginger and husband! Haha his name is Geert so non-dutch people mostly call him G. Thank you so much for your kind words!! We ARE surf and skate buddies! We met as lifeguards working on the beach, where we both loved to surf. I moved to Geerts town as its on the beach. We only go on holiday to spots where you can surf too haha 😅❤️

Thank you! Haha Geert doesn't see the point of marriage, and I kind of am afraid of the archetypes connected to becoming husband and wife. So no, we're just staying boyfriend and girlfriend - with a partners contract for the house we bought together. I did want to have some kind of party to celebrate our love, but still not really feeling great for a party plus money might be spent better on the house. Geert did get me a stunning little ring with an opal for our 10 year anniversary that I wear on the engagement ring finger 😅❤️
