Honestly can’t say what my favourite halo game is but ODST is definitely up there. The atmosphere on Mombasa Streets is incredible. Deference for Darkness is one of my favourite tracks and I love how the open world was implemented and how the set pieces you explore at night tie in with the missions you play trough during day time. The quietness just hours after fighting through a massive battle and the abandoned environment only filled with squads of grunts and brutes patrolling the streets create a perfect post apocalyptic atmosphere with the city burning in the background. There’s hardly a game a enjoy as much as ODST. My only complaint is that it’s too short. I could explore the streets of Mombasa and collect audio logs for days. If the open world in infinite is implemented in a similar fashion I‘m sold.

Ok 3 year old comment, I'm late...but SPOT ON!! ODST's dark vibe paired so well with playing as a much weaker and more vulnerable character than what we were used to. Add to that the fact that we were now fighting to save our home world which had been discovered, seeing one of our greatest cities in ruins, the Covenant were everywhere...it kinda all felt more real now. The monsters were at our doorstep. It'd be great to see another spin-off like this someday.

You might not see this but as a combat medic i have to say ive treated people with worst injuries to the chest than that and recovered. Its all about speed of medical intervention and the person who is wounded. Plus it was only one side of the chest not both so he will be fine haha

for all of those people who never got to see the Halo 3 Legendary ending, or the ODST Legendary ending, follow these steps. 1.) Load up Halo 3 or ODST on PC. 2.) chose the "Epilog" mission. 3.) set difficulty to "Legendary" and start the mission. you will now see the Legendary ending. i don't know if this is a bug or not. but it's a good way to see it with literally no effort XD

Halo 3: ODST was amazing. I remember getting it in 2009 and everybody around me was forgiving the graphics for not being the best out like Bungie's typically known for (still looked great). Looking back, what I appreciated about ODST was that even though the campaign was relatively short, it just gave us more halo content and making it refreshing by making us an ODST. I really put respect on their names after playing this game. Also firefight was better than gears of war 2's Horde mode imo so it was a nice addition. Not to mention the Halo Reach Beta. I think it was part cash-grab; Part extended lore & content; and part a ton ton of neat fan service... I've heard people complain about ODST being short and not worth the money but give how much the game has stuck to my brain 15years later, I'd argue it was worth every penny

Quick question. If the warthog has been in service for over a hundred years, how come Master Chief and the other Spartan twos fit into them so easily? Having served and rode in modern-day Humvees, I can tell you they are not made for comfort and they are not made for tall people. Is this amazing to me that both Marines and Spartans can drive the warthogs with no adjustments. In my eyes the Spartans should have had their own vehicles from the start. Yes with troop or crew positions but made specifically for a Spartan to operate.

You can survive a punctured lung but the way they're treating it wouldn't happen. He would have needed an occlusive dressing. First aid 101 even for combat. An inclusive dressing is something he would have had in his first aid kit. That foam wouldn't do shit but keep that one lung collapsed. As to your comment about chief originally meant to be born stellar. No the original plan was for 343 to refer to humans in general as having fired the rings before. There is a difference between bungee lore and 343 lore. You of all people should know that.

Hey halo fans I know halo infinite looks and seem disappointing so far but I have faith I know sprint is in the game but halo infinite is sort of open world and we need to travel faster and plus we have joe statan back so maybe halo infinite story will be better he is a really great developer and 343 is learning from his mistakes and listening to us maybe he will bring back the classic magnum and shotgun I just wanted to comment this because a lot of the halo community is disappointed at the reveal and I hope this will help with your worries for this game a little bit thank you
