It comes with 2 discs. Disc 1 is ODST's campaign, Firefight mode, and Halo: Reach beta. Disc 2 is Halo 3 online with every map ever released plus 3 new maps. This includes the full matchmaking, custom games, and Forge mode along with theater on both discs. Great value in my opinion.

@acekelly no this is during halo 2. It starts with the covenant ship going into slip-space, just after the Chief lands on top of the UNSC ship and the sarge says "for a brick, he flew pretty good!" ODST: Awesome campaign, awesome soundtrack.

Well, the firefight/horde formula was used before gears, and so was the red screen thing. Was this Bungie's way of trying to 1up Epic? Or just them implementing more fps features? Who knows.

2nd disk is essentially an original Halo 3 disk with the single player campaign removed. It has everything else on it; the armor permutations, forge mode, theater mode, all that stuff and all the DLC maps. The only problem is that you'll need to play Halo 3 campaign to unlock some of the armor sets.

If you both have Xbox Live Gold or are using system link, then yes. One person needs to invite the other to a party, and then you can play together.

it could be one of the glitches of the disc because i read that some people have new disc that doesn't even work on their xbox 360 (old and new) however you should check out the options just in case if you did something to it. Other wise go back to the store and receive a new copy.

no when you put in the second disk its basicaly another main menu but with only mulitplayer lobbies, and thetere, and all the maps, and it also loads your custome games so the only reason to go back to normal halo 3 is to play the original campaign

Okay... ODST comes with 2 discs. Disc 1 has the ODST campaign + Firefight. Disc 2 has the Halo 3 multiplayer, which is competitive (against each other), so the answer is YES. =)

It took me about 15 hours if not more on Legendary but i wasted quite some time trying to collect all the hidden audio tapes. Anyways the levels are pretty big and complex and especially if you take it on Legendary it is a tough game and will require time and patience to beat it.

the extra cd that comes with odst is all the maps of halo 3 including some extras. ODST is a fun game albeit on the short side. i enjoyed it and played through 5 times. some people hate this game sadly. its all about opinions

Wow this game was great and got rated 9.0 by IGN and firefight was great too. The multiplayer disc was kinder stupid but they've done a great job adding all maps and fixing some glitches.

You play as an ODST. I believe it is worth 60 bucks to the average Halo story fan. Gameplay is not different and neither is the engine, but the game mechanics are changed which adds a new rule to the game.
