Adam Schick Throughout the Halo games the humans are in a war against the Covenant. The war last just a measly 27 years. Prior to the war, Humanity's population was at 39 Billion, spread across many different worlds. By the last few years of the war, their population was put down to 16 billion. That's 23 billion deaths. Humans are scared, many have PTSD and other psychological issues as an entire generation was born only knowing of the threat of the Covenant. I'm surprised they didn't drive you the opposite direction of the enemies.

The knights were one of the most annoying enemies, I have faced in a long time. Tough shields, that once you get down, they run off like a little punk that you have to chase down, and on top of that they have this retardedly long range weapon that launches mini explosives.

They are indeed, especially in the campaign when there are three or four to take on a time. They fight like a pack of god damn wolves, it's almost scary the way they tend to back you into a corner and then pounce like an apex predator.

It's only because they teleport and are bullet sponges. They aren't clever, just OP. It's rather easy to have a flank when you can tap you heels together and POOF! You're in the perfect position for a new attack. Personally, I would have preferred a minimalist design that was a tad bit more creepy, and that they either teleported only so much (or had a cool-down) but had more armor OR teleported a ton more but had significantly less armor.

They are pretty challenging. But, like Tarson said, It's only because of the OP abilities / weapons they have. I've never fought an enemy which I feel can actually think about it's attack. ( In game, that is. )

Nickolie Keyov well in legendary and you can see it in more gamecheat videos, they atack like a team, and cordinate the atacks, they have the ligth sword, the weapon, the watchers materializers,time distorsion,teleporting, dodging thruster pack, expansive wave shock, and they jump like floods . For me the 3 most chalenging enemy, 1st sniper jackals, 2second, zealots and ultra elites.

TheFallenWarior Legion I've never had a problem with jackal snipers, or any snipers for that matter. I just need some cover and a magnum and I can take em' out. The trick is that their sniper glows on the end. I you can find that and aim just a hair up you can usually get them.

na theyd still win man, 343 fucked up the hunters in this game imo, look at the hunters in all other halo games they fuel rod spam if nothing is in range of there melee, meanwhile in this video and experience of playing halo 4 they hardly ever use a huge gun attached to there arm..logic. but never the less halo ODST and halo Reach's hunters could more than likely take on any other Enemy and win. just poor programming here on the hunters end imo but for the knights i still think they were programmed really well with how tactical and efficient they are its pretty impressive.

You should definitely do that Crawler vs Grunt idea, you should also do S-IV vs Zealots. It would be interesting to see how the Zealots handle ranged opponents while the S-IV's handle close range opponents. Perhaps give them Ar's and maybe one or two Shotguns depending on the team size? But yeah, good effort on at least attempting to get an interest in Halo 4. You're already a step further than most the "dedicated" Halo community.

Juan David Pabon That may make sense from a story standpoint, but forerunner weaponry already breaks the whole shields/health damage point scale that so delicately gives the game balance, so buffing forerunner weapons would break the game further.

Why I find the most interesting is that repeatedly the Promethians create an ar around the hunters. They basically flank them and the hunters shoot all over the place confused at what's going on. In the older videos such as the hunters vs. flood tanks the flood tanks attacked in a group and so did the hunters. But here there split up and to confused to fight together at one enimey and that is their downfall

I always thought the Hunters would work better with teamwork. Since they are often seen in groups of two. But the only fight it won was the 1 v 1... The Knights' ranged weapon is too strong and too accurate compared to the Hunters' so aggro fire was too much. Once you got to the 20 the AI freezing gave it back to the hunters, because the Knights wouldn't shoot, and the Knights couldn't survive the close combat with the beefy ass hunters.

the knight won purely on their superior technology, having slipspace technology coupled with pulse grenade and incinerator cannon. the hunter can win in a battle of brute strengths and firepower. but if they are outmaneuvered they can't win.

I love fighting Hunters more than any other character. It requires a lot of skill.

It does? Evade cannon, jump from melee attack, shoot the back. They have a very obvious weakpoint to attack and won't kill you unless you stand right in their melee attack or don't react to the ~2 second ranged charge up which has very limited explosion range and not the highest speed. Also, they are slow, bulky and only charge you when you ask them for it. Knight battlewagons on the other end are a little less predictable, have superior mobility, can literally teleport next to you to flank you, have a cannon that shoots a fast projectile instakilling everything in a 5 meter radius, do NOT have a single specific weak spot and will actively avoid you once their shields/armour are down. And they rarely come alone, often use flanking tactics together with other prometheans.

Currently, there are no weak spots for the promethean knights. Although you can see the head, it takes just as many shots as anywhere else to kill a knight. I think thats why the hunters lost, and also partly because of the awesome splash damage of the incineration cannons:)

First Battle-Hunters won due to better armor. Battles Between First and Last-Knights won due to teleporting shenanigans. Last Battle-Hunters won because they could survive the Knights first salvo, but some Knights didn't survive the Hunters first salvo. Due to this, the Hunters suddenly gained a numerical advantage which was actually strengthened by the fact some of the Knights teleported away, thus isolating themselves from one another rather than having the pincer flank.

In 20, half of the Knights were just sitting there to have their ass kicked. If all of them fired, it should be like 10, where the majority of the Hunters died in the first few exchanges of fire.

Codi Francisco the other thing is, like everyone in the comments is saying, the Prometheans were given incineration canons, when the battle wagons normally use scattershots. i think that this was to even it out, but the hunters A.I already sucks, they can't use grenades, they don't have shields, and also they can't regenerate health. it was already an unfair matchup before they added incineration canons, if you think about it.

I love what 343 did with the knight AI in Halo 4, but I think the hunters need a buff for Halo 5. In Halo 3, on legendary (which is the only way I play Halo campaigns) hunters were fucking terrifying.
