+Jeffrey Finnecy yeah, he is unreal that's for damn sure. his movement around the map is fantastic too, that sets him apart as well. if you can learn how to move better you will be in more positive positions for winning encounters

What controls do you play on Vetoed? A lot of people recommended I use bumper jumper, but I use green thumb and do pretty well.

As long as you're able to jump and thrust while aiming, it doesn't matter much what you use. Learning clawing is better as it allows you to master all button layouts without needing for controller paddles, although some people might struggle based on their hand size. TL;DR - while bumper jumper helps, it's not a clear cut advantage like in Halo 3

+Vetoed I guess that's kind of my problem.. I can jump and thrust, but having to take my thumb off the right stick and jam the A or B button takes too long while in a gunfight. I don't think I'm going to try clawing.. Is bumper jumper the best alternative? Or is there another layout or method? Thanks for the reply

That's what I meant. Bumper jumper won't solve that problem since thrust is X button. Clawing or getting a controller with paddles (Elite or Scuf) are the two options

I use default controls with a regular xbox controller and had a similar problem (not being able to thrust or jump while still having my thumb on the right stick)..after not finding any other layout that felt comfortable what i wound up doing was went into the xbox controller settings and actually swapped my A button with LB, and B button with RB (so now jump is LB, thrust is RB, Grenade Throw is A, Melee is B, everything else still default). You can always change it back when you play other games so the buttons aren't swapped still, but it made a huge difference (especially with 1v1 gunfights) being able to thrust and jump while never letting go of the right stick. Let me know what you think as I've never really seen this as a suggestion and just randomly tried it one day. TL;DR (to stick with the theme) - go into your xbox accessories settings and swap your controllers LB with A and RB with B
