+Jason Parsons (TheHeroesArmy) I'm not necessarily trying to complain about the (3) dislikes, I just find it a bit annoying for someone to click a dislike button without bothering to leave a note on why they disliked it. If someone doesn't like something, they have to tell me what they didn't like, otherwise, I won't be able to improve. I think the real reason they disliked the video is because Chief was "losing". xD Also, are you talking about the contests from years back? If so, I had absolutely zero stop motion knowledge back then... I wanted to enter, but there wasn't any point in entering if I barely knew how to make a stop motion. :P

Well, I find it perfectly acceptable if someone simply wants to express their opinion - I'm all about freedom as such. The problem lies in the fact that, A. They aren't constructive (they don't have to be, but it'd be nice) And B. I don't see any valid reasons for them to dislike. Of course, I'm a bit biased because these are my own videos (even though, often times I'm harsh on myself). I think they're just wee 'ittle lads who don't know how much work goes into making a stop motion. xD

This was very good but very very inaccurate. Chief is a spartan 2 who would've mopped the floor with locks. Not to mention the inaccuracy of two magnum shots incapacitating chief. Impossible. No matter what Spartan generation that would not do much but decrease the Shielding for a moment

if you don't mind me asking, im a big fan of your stopmotion productions and my channel has been getting pummeled with views on my stopmotion videos too. But how did you get the background (mountains, hills etc), i really need to have a better terrain and background on my videos :) by the way, this was amazing as always!

+Jim Bob Chief I've managed to build my various different scenes from a large number of sets that I have bought over the years. There really isn't any particular science to how to build a background, I simply use whatever pieces I have. Sometimes I will draw inspiration for my builds from the game, and, most of the time, I will build from my imagination. When building, I usually don't bother to put much, if any, detail into areas that aren't visible. This helps save on the piece count. If you're interested in the specifics, like where I get a certain part, then I could answer that better. :) -Dawson

Ah... Yes... Part 2. I have a small portion of it completed, but gave up mid way through. Do you want me to post the incomplete bit anyways?

One reason was that I have to use existing quotes from the games and then change the context in which they're said in order to craft the story... Basically, it was difficult to think of an original narrative using only the dialogue from the Halo games. Also, I posted this video slightly before the release of "Halo: 5 Guardians". As soon as the game released, I watched all the gameplay and cutscenes... Only to have completely lost interest in the direction 343 Industries was leading the story to. Halo 5 was advertised to be a story about Locke hunting down Master Chief. It turned out that was mainly blown out of proportion, and the story was actually about an AI takeover. This essentially ruined Halo 5 _and_ Halo 4's story, as well as left me with no inspiration to continue creating stories based around the 343 era Halo games. I'll probably post the 30 seconds or so of part 2 that I had complete. Furthermore, I _might_ work on a "remastered" version of Master Chief vs. Locke... +SENTINALFILMZ Thanks for subscribing! :D In order to pull of the effect of having Spartan Locke float in the air, I used a long, clear stand piece with a clear rod that the Watcher figures use (I'm not exactly sure how to explain it). I placed the stand in the background, and the clear rod piece was facing towards the camera - attached to Locke's back. The figure was large enough to cover the majority of the clear stand, and because the stand was faded out in the background, it isn't very easy to see. Hopefully, if I find any more spare time, I will try to make a video (of pictures) about how I do my special effects. :)
