They are now supplied with removable brusheads. I ordered mine direct from the supplier's website. Also came with free wall bracket.

Do you mean removable brushrolls, because the head shown on the website look just the same as mine.

The power head reminds me of the vax blade 32v I've had mine 2 year's and the flex tube has lasted with very heavy yous only problem is in the joint of the power head one of the cables come apart it got stretched so I took it apart and managed to get some slack and re soilded the cable and good as new after a good clean 👍

Roger, you are the very best at demonstrating vacuum cleaners. I was looking for a cordless vac, and saw this one advertised but didn’t buy it. I’m glad I didn’t. I would have liked a motorised brush and a detachable battery. It also looks cumbersome if you were using it to clean the car, say down the side of the seats.

Would have been better if they used the Hepaflo type material to make the bags rather than paper, as paper bags would lose suction on this before they are properly full, and need changing more often. I was quite surprised to see they used paper to be quite honest, but they do supply quite a few spare bags, so maybe not that much of an issue. Its a much better price than the ridiculous price Lupe want for their cordless vacuum, and it doesnt look too bad, I quite like the design, its quite retro, like a bullet shaped 1950s style cylinder mains vacuum.
@paulillingworth12424 жыл бұрын
Sounds like a Vax blade 2 max even the floor head, an interesting vac especially being a new model and bagged. I like the retro looking body of the machine. A flexi hose would be good on it too.

I agree, bagless vacuums in general are dirty and quite messy when it comes to having to clean them and get to the filters to clean or replace them you end up with a mess. Bags are much easier and you get a new filter every time you change the bag. I went the bagless route for a while but have gone back to bagged vacuums as the bagless like I said is a mess.

I’m glad I didn’t buy one. Was so tempted to pre order one just before it’s release, glad I didn’t. I noticed the similarities between this and vax (uk ) and (Hoover usa ) and thought ill give it a go, I’m more than happy with vax blades ( one is just for cat litter the other is for all other vacuuming ). Mine are the basic 24 volt models and yet it still surprises me at how much deep down dirt it removes ( especially the shake n vac. Sorry people I love the stuff )

How do you feel about the emptying mechanism on some Dysons with the lip that cleans the shroud? My v10 does an excellent job of making fine dust clump together, so it is very clean to empty. Obviously not a clean as bagged, though.

Can’t help thinking that using bags is a step backwards. The motor sucks through the bag do as it fills up the suction effectiveness surely reduces?
@RJA_World2 жыл бұрын
Correct, but hepa cloth bags don't have this problem so much, they're much better at retaining suction power. I fill my Henry vacuum bag to the brim and still had plenty of suction.

Hi, just got the capsule but the brush head keeps turning off on my living room rugs which are slightly longer pile but not shaggy! Will charge it up and see if that improves the brush head function. I've got the Gtech corldess bagged vacuum which coped really well with any pile but the brush head has stopped working & is expensive to replace. Also the Gtech battery is needing replaced, again expensive, so that's why I decided to get the Halo due to good reviews
@ibaisaic2 жыл бұрын
Charging up the Halo fully won’t solve your problem. Many cordless cleaners can’t cope with plush or longer pile carpets including expensive Dyson models I’ve used. The only solution is to use them on the lowest suction setting and even then some cleaners will still struggle.

As my partner and I are 70+ an issue for us is machine weight (which seems good), the leverage exerted by the weight (i.e. how close the weight is to the grip, which seems OK) and a grip that is secure to hold with weakening wrists. Any feedback available on the grip?
@ibaisaic3 жыл бұрын
Like any vacuum cleaner of this type, most of the weight is near the hand and can be tiring to use for some. If you mainly want a cleaner for floors and carpets, I would recommend the GTech Airram as all the weight is on the floor.

Which cordless vacuum would you recommend for a house with short pile carpet. Only hard floor is tiny bathroom and small kitchen. No pets. Max budget is £200. I have had my dyson dc44 for 6 years and its not picking up as well as it used to. Has served me well but need something else now. Any advice? Thanks.

@ibaisaic Hi Mr Ibaisaic, I have a mystery vacuum cleaner that I'm hoping you might have some info on, as I can find none online. My son Albi (8yrs old) is a huge fan of vacuum cleaners and of your videos. Has been since he was 2. He recently spotted an interesting vacuum for sale, a Singer Model 151. We bought it, and it's a really lovely little thing. But apart from knowing from the manufacturer tag that it was made in Italy, we know nothing about it. It's quite a nice little bagged cylinder vacuum, good quality plastic and really good performance It's brown and beige in colour so probably from the late 70s or early 80s. We're really intrigued by it, can you shed any light on it? Hope you can help. Best regards, Rich.

But... Will it hepaflo?
@stevejones19724 жыл бұрын
Sam, you took the words right out of my mouth, but I feel it wont, as the massive Numatic Hepaflo bags would never inflate properly inside the tiny bag housing, but it would have been better had Halo used hepaflo type material bags rather than paper, as paper bags lose suction faster, and as a cordless doesnt have much suction to begin with, this vacuum could well lose suction to the point of needing a new bag long before the bag is actually full. I presume they made them out of paper for cheapness.

Miele bags might work if you rework the holder to work with the halo
@stevejones19724 жыл бұрын
@@imaginekarma8582 Miele bags are expensive and too large. I would say to try G tech bags for their Pro cordless, which are £12 for 10, and have about the same capacity as the Halo : www.gtech.co.uk/pro-bags.html?SID=f6cbb7462c2d7f1056c1f158a7f3a346

To be honest, I would not buy this. It looks cheap and seems to struggle while running. I went to the website and here in America that would cost around $325. It seems that a much better cleaner can be bought for that amount of money. My Riccar Vibrance was only $350 and you get a seemingly better machine.
