They will never understand 2003 Halo play: 1. Connect your PC and xbox to router. 2. Install XBOX connect on your PC. 3. Set PING rule - anyone over 50ms to be kicked. 4. Start your LAN game on your xbox. 5. Someone joins your room with the same settings on their end. 6. Potentially wait for another person (You could have up to 3 xboxes join the LAN party). 7. Start the game. 8. Play with a !@#$load of lag. 9. Hopefully the connection is stable and noone gets dropped. 10. Have fun!

Better yet...running XBC on the family computer UPSTAIRS but having your Xbox DOWNSTAIRS and having to run up and down the stairs all day lol. shit was annoying but as a kid I fucking loved it.

Dude you can. Look into xlink Kai. I literally played CE online on the OG Xbox yesterday with a full lobby of 4 people (you could only have 4 Xbox's connected to one local network and xlink goes off system link)

Because it's a LAN match. Packets have to go from the host Xbox through the cable to the client Xbox, which takes one frame.

Jack Burton MCC isn’t true halo 1. Subtle differences and errors ruin it.

@@allenw3658 I REALLY hope that with the PC launch of MCC that CE can be overhauled to OG CE. I've heard that 343 has the original CE source code and they are working with the PC community to do this. BOTH campaign and MP need to be fixed. I just hope it's sooner than later...

Jack Burton it would be nice but I highly doubt it. 343 has had a “good enough” attitude about MCC. This is technically the third release of MCC (original release, then the overhaul, and now PC) and the game still has problems present from day 1. I wouldn’t hold your breath.

@@allenw3658 well they just used the horrid Gearbox PC port of CE for the MCC xb1 and then just ported over that to the PC MCC, so there hasn't really been any effort to fix CE.

Everything is so well put together except for the actual video itself. Why is the gameplay so small and the weapon/powerup timer so big? And why is there so much unused space at the top of the screen? I just wish the gameplay footage filled the screen.
