Happy 4th of July everyone and welcome back to another Halo CE campaign mod showcase! In this video, check out a custom firefight mod for Halo CE. This is Trottingham Firefight, created by Roxanne!

Covenant, Changelings - no matter. Trottingham must be saved. 1-2 Players
Once again, not for the faint of the normie heart. Play as Spartan 115 with aid of his Meowlnir Mark V and Starlight Glimmer[mlp.fandom.com] in voice comms, and fight against the Covenant invasion of Trottingham, as well as the remnant Changeling[mlp.fandom.com] horde!
Map Features
- A firefight map set in the sieged pony town of Trottingham, at night.
- A pistol shot can no longer 1-hit a Hunter in the back. Time to dance.
- Building rooftops are climbable like ladders.
- Select music from Halo: Spartan Assault for each final wave.
- Dialog between factions during some waves, to add a tiny pinch of narrative flavor.
- "Big John the Drinol & the Fuel Rod Friends," Boss Fight for the Bonus Round.
- Later rounds are invaded by the Changeling horde, turning the map into the definitive war zone!
- Additional Digsite content including the Slugman and previously mentioned Drinol.
- Deployable bubble shield for quick cover.
Additional Notes
- This experience works fine in solo, but is best experienced with a friend in Co-Op Mode. Also tested & works with Alpha Ring splitscreen![github.com]
- The deployable bubble shield was added to make up for the limited grenade carrying. You can hold up to two of them.
- Slugman snipers can be spotted with a small red light at far distances.
- For the Bonus Round, defeat the Drinol before the clock hits 0 to keep your health station, as well as winning an extra overshield & Hero support!
- Bosses have a good chunk of health, so heavy weapons are recommended for taking them down. You may have to get creative.
Known Bugs
- This campaign requires that you have Halo CE's multiplayer installed along side singleplayer, due to dependencies.
- If an enemy is killed before finishing their grav lift descent, the animations break. This is a vanilla Halo CE bug present in The Truth & Reconciliation.
- Rare, but sometimes the Co-op teammate refuses to respawn, even after the battlefield is deemed safe. Likely a vanilla Halo CE bug.
