I feel like the marines are often underutilized by other players during the campaigns. When I work to keep them alive I find they can be pretty helpful to have around even if they can’t take much damage. It’s cool to see what a bunch can do together

This is why I play Ruby’s rebalanced Halo CE because they don’t flinch every time they are shot and get stunlocked. If you keep them alive they both distract and put in the work.

Mod is best played on legendary with faster fire and no AI flinch skulls on, AR being hitscan makes humans alot stronger than the covenant and those three options almost make it a bit more fair.

To think, we were so close to having other spartans fight alongside us with the newly released alpha version mission of the silent cartographer. There was even unused audio of a squad of spartans being sent in that was used when you got a pelican full of them. It was such a cool sight to see, but a real shame that this concept didn't make it to the final version. Would have been nice to have AI allies that didn't keel over from a breeze and could stand on equal footing with the elites while you flanked the enemy for an easy kill.

It is somewhat lore accurate, there were plenty of UNSC forces from the POA that we never got to see and Spartans did technically exist after the events of Reach.

@@noWo5HISta It's more like if the Fall of Reach never happened. The Autumn was geared up for Operation Red Flag, which was supposed to include every Spartan II that could be redeployed in time.

@@Kai-ow9gi Bungie didn't have a fleshed out world to take into consideration for the time. Other Spartans would be an interesting scenario, but I assume that would of undermined the idea of the player being the "ultimate weapon".

This is on normal/easy difficulty. This on Heroic or legendary would had gotten most marines killed.

Remove the extra master chiefs. And Zealot elites. Also adding rockets and snipers to every map is cheating. Sticj with the traditional weapon set per level.
