It really does look like it pushes the engine to it's limits with how amazing this looks. I like how the cut creatures uncovered by the Digsite Team are being efficiently and uniquely utilised within these beautiful environments. The weapons and vehicles, both retooled cut and custom made ones as well, really stand out and look like a lot of fun to use. I'm particularly looking forward having a couple ingame companions like the medic and drone buddy to help out during the mission. I can already tell I'm going to be protecting them as much as I can as they're both too precious to lose. Also I noticed the custom grunt voice lines which is another great addition and detail. It's nice to hear Cheechas great music again. They really breathe new life into this custom Halo world.

Hearing the "Ah! My eye!" That's a really nice touch. It'd be cool to have enemies respond to where you hit them like that. It looks fantastic, I look forward to seeing gameplay of this mod when it comes out (because I can't play it myself)

​@@aLTis94you deserve it I'll be trying the first mercury rising on steam today since I've found this trailer 😀 great job keeping halo alive Edit: I booted it up and was met instantly by a wave of not just nostalgia but a general sence of Awe, much like the feeling you got the first time you played Halo, maybe it was a Birthday or Maybe it was Christmas, this Mod somehow manages to have that magic that we all felt the first time we played Halo - and Yes, *I was Blinded by its Majesty*

After playing the first part and seeing this trailer I can confidently say you totally get Halo CE's aesthetic/vibe/design. The additional weapons and enemies are great too. This trailer especially is what I imagined as a kid when I didn't have internet and I was told Halo mods existed. This is so cool man!

The halo prototype assets basically make it an unplayed halo entirely but it fits perfectly. Much better than any new halo game thats for sure.

I absolutely adore the usage of the cut Covenant Masters. I have a little headcanon that their lore is similar to the Pfhor from Marathon (slaver empire, hence the "masters" moniker), but they've been inducted into the Covenant Ecumene as a loose fringe/client species that serves a security role that brutes would later take over. Also the UNSC drone was so cool, and I LOVE seeing the ambient life.
