Really disagree on the exploding 8s. It's fun on both sides and ensures you always have a chance at success (important as the game expands). The tactical/strategic level of the game right where it is in the video game of which it is based on. Agree that the red v blue spartans will get stale soon.

This game is based on Deadzone, and Deadzone is twelve years old.

It's a great entry game. Doesn't get bogged down by complex rules, and the exploding d8s to me represent critical hits, which is clever imo Creative gamers that own DZ product can work those in as alternate teams
