Worst game breaking thing i found is that you can only have 5 ai follow you around. And only the host. All other players are invisible to friendly ai. So no loading ip warthogs with marines for a convoy

keep in mind that everything they add has to be able to run on the Original Xbox One, also marines are OP in this game with power weapons, (you can literally sit in a razorback and do nothing while they kill everything in a 50-100 meter radius on legendary) Now imagine 4 master chiefs doing this. Balancing and hardware are going to be huge limitations on that dream of yours unfortunately.

Co-op has been in every Halo game since Bungie owned the IP. If they can do it with the limited technology back in the Golden days of gaming. Then 343 has no excuse for this.

The problem is that rendering is so much easier back then. Now you have to be mindful of console players and PC players. Graphics and CPU limits are being outpaced by increased file sizes and hardware limitations. Hardware limitations are more a problem now than it was 10-20 years ago. Imagine having to render one low quality for one camera. Easy right? Now do it twice. Then do it 2 more times. The single pc or console you have will have to render the same scene 4 different times.

And increased files sizes are purely a result of lazy/incompetent developers, shouldn't be an issue either due to the massive growth in the size of storage devices. Consoles 20 years ago only had 8Gb of storage, if that.

@DeskSlam not the PR team, the higher ups at 343i need to know that Halo Finite has a severe lack of content right now so they can get all hands on deck for actual gamemodes instead of cosmetics. They're wasting too much time on armor that nobody buys anyways. I think they should just get a cycle of all of their content, including the 'vaulted' Season 1 shop items, and then stop making new cosmetics. The modeling team needs to start working on things for forge to complete it soon or else Halo Finite will die out.

I love coop in any game mainly cause anything is more fun with the right friends but I kinda wish we were out of the master chief cloning days lol I loved how reach, 3, and 5 did the coop with the coop partners being their own character or the arbiter or other spartans just kinda adds more of a emphasis to the coop partner if that makes sense.

Yeah, I think the overworld shaders need a little work. Chief looks much better in cutscenes, especially underground, than in the overworld. Hopefully there'll be campaign updates to improve the visuals a bit (or hell, if campaign updates become a continuous thing they could even go in for dynamic weather if it isn't too much work)

Just remember that coop is usually included when a game is released and it is often a feature that is barely talked about during reviews so coop shouldn't be such a good feature if it was added later. 343i really managed to get people to like a feature more by not adding it at the start.

So the main argument for co-op from most is "it took too long?" some people are so sad. As to your arguments, I can agree with only being able to join the person furthest back, it does prevent spoilers at the very least, and you CAN bring weapons from other saves... so it's not that big of a deal. That and I don't think the kill barrier is a big deal, it is a fair distance and for most people, and since you don't lose weapons on death it's not that big of a deal if you die instead of teleporting. I just want to get myself an xbox so that I can actually play MCC and this game, cause I'm still on 360.

In my personal experience, you can go quite a distance, and there's no vertical limit In terms of MP Spartans, we all know that 343 will prioritise story continuity, which will mean no MP Spartans in campaign for a very long time, if ever

I don't understand why they'd need to limit players to the area the host is in. Of course I don't understand how it's built, but one would be inclined to think "four players, running 4 machines, it doesn't seem impossible to have each player in separate map regions." Well 343 has said that Halo Infinite is on a 10 year road map. They've been regularly updating MCC and people seem pretty happy with that all around. I think the only time sensitive issue here is: whether or not Microsoft will decide to scrap a project if it isn't popular enough to profit from? People who've left the game to play Fortnite, were gonna do that anyway. It's not entirely Halo's fault. I'll always come back and play all the Halo games.

LASO just got easy. Get a friend to collect the tank cannon on easy difficult alone, you then host LASO, since you're behind your game will start and not your friends and now your friend can carry you through the first BOSS until you can get your own cannon
