@@pyrotechnick420 I pirated it and was still disappointed. It's a mediocre "Ubisoft towers" game that plays out like a 12 hour long version of Halo CE's second mission. Also the story was a rehash of Halo 4. The only time it felt like a proper Halo game for me were the first and last missions, with everything else just feeling like a Far Cry game with a sci-fi skin on top where you're just going through a bunch of repetitive, "modular" content (basically the antithesis of traditional Halo design). It also didn't run very well and it genuinely enraged me that a game launched in 2021/22 had no fullscreen option.

I commented this on one of the original videos, but I really appreciate the variety in what each of them know about Halo. Tomar knows basically nothing, Chris played a little bit and knows some of the characters, and Lyle has played them all but still isn’t a lore expert. As a fan that’s obsessed with the lore I really like the different perspectives on my favorite franchise. I definitely want to see them play more Halo

Ngl the best thing about this game is that the cutscenes are all real-time, so you can mod just about any armor you want onto chief and it'll show up on his model in game and in the cutscenes. Pair that with a 3rd person mod and then you can pretend that this isnt even about chief anymore because the story is so fucked at this point

Last actual ground breaking game that Bungie made was Marathon II in the late ninties! Halo was a continuation of that, so I think they should go back to that game and do a modern remake. That would be amazing, the horror elements in that game were just done better, I would have thought that adding modern graphics and controls to a game like that would be a definite winner.

I had to come here to explain this nap dream I literally just had before I forget it. You guys were having a huge 10 Million sub celebration, and billboards were posted throughout US cities about your huge "Bee Extravaganza". Basically, you guys were going to have a party then after the fact run through fields of wild, beautiful bees. Don't ask where this came from. So Chris, Tomar, and Zack threw a huge LA party, then vanished after a certain hour guaranteeing a "successful mission" to a crowd of thousands. Fast forward, the sun is fading and the gang has found their spot. A field full of bees. Don't ask where, I don't even know, but you guys had found a GIANT plane of nothing but bees. At the tune of an alarm set for 6pm, you guys sprinted. Just ran, and kept running until y'all accidentally ran over a cliff and did a tumble. Tomar was unconscious and Zack found it hilarious and played with his beard. Chris investigated the area and noticed a large pack of hyenas, like well over 200 on a ridge opposite of you guys, across a canyon. You were safe, but noticed that the hyenas were eyeing a mountainside covered in chimps, easily double the amount of hyenas. Zack and Chris had sat down, curious as to what would come next. The hyenas then prowled, sprinting toward the primates. Climbing this mountainside, the gnawed and clawed the creatures. The chimps had fought back valiantly, to the utter delight of Zack. He was cheering them on, cuz fuck them hyenas. The dream ended with the last few hyenas being slaughtered, ripped apart basically. And as I'm typing this everything else is kind of a blur but I'm really happy I had this dream.

@@dextergrif2019 well it's not just that; I agree with them but I think the real issue is that it looks uncanny in a video game compared to real life and it seems like lots of video games have been going for that design for the past 4 years. Something to do with the cheekbones just looks weird in these games. Like something is lost in translation. Kamala Khan from their avengers playthrough would be another recent example. And then there's the additional aspect of Cortana having previously been stoic-like with witty lines in the older games that Chris is more acquainted with.
