Walking far away will complete objectives for HVT and sometime FOB if you blast enemies off the screen but this tends not to work with rescuing squads of Marines. There you have to redo the entire encounter sometimes. Occasionally FOBs also have to be redone.

On the Xbox Series X setting to Performance mode, you have no legs on screen so you have to rely on your shadow regarding the Tank Gun if you have it out.

One more info on tank gun. You cannot use the deployable cover with this. Also when using the dash you go inside your body like on 5:44.

Yup, if they even patch it. Historically they haven't patched glitches like this that make the game easier, they just patch glitches that are detrimental to the player experience.

1:55 you don't have to press this button to spawn the tank gun, you can just go straight to where Silver picks it up and it'll still be there Also I'm sure everyone knows this by now, but 343 added the tank gun back in June 2022 due to community backlash, so you can still use it

Hey, I loaded back in yesterday and all my skulls were deactivated, if I manually reactivate them in load game will I still get the achievement, I’ve made sure not to move Chief so I don’t get a new checkpoint.

@Shelby Maxwell I think so, but for a lot of people before the Co-op update, myself included, the LASO Achievement was glitched, so maybe ask around if that's fixed before starting.

@@MrDavidMcNick I’ve done some research and found that the invincibility glitch is patched along with some others but I can’t find anywhere that says they fixed the LASO achievement glitch

Between Bandana and the tank gun Halo Infinite LASO isn’t really a challenge at all. If Halo 2 LASO included Bandana and the Scarab gun skull (with zero splash damage from it) that’d be the only one easier than this.

Sniper, Rocket Launcher & Dynamo Grenade. That's all you will need if you don't plan to use Tank gun. And you will need to spam the hell out of Dynamo Grenades.

I’ve commented on earlier videos that I don’t like explosive weapons like rocket launcher or tank gun glitch because of the problem with launching enemies too far away. Pair Energy Sword with Sniper Rifle in the earlier stages and get as many Spartan cores as you can. Save at least 9 of them and get to the end of the Conservatory to get the Thrust ability. Upgrade it with your 9 Spartan Cores to level 5 Escape Velocity and you now have infinite thrust with camo. Combined with dynamo grenades to stun and a Duelist energy blade the game is basically broken. Also get arcane sentinel beam for your secondary weapon. It melt any enemies that can’t be easily taken out with Duelist. Maximally upgrading Drop Wall gives you cover you need to break out your arcane sentinel beam.

@@fanamatakecick97 arcane sentinel beam as soon as you get it but you have to kill HVT later on in the game so it could take awhile. Until you unlock it I would use sniper rifle as secondary weapon behind the Duelist Blade. Rockets are fine but again if you are focused on clearing map objectives on way to 100 percent explosive weapons are not as good did to blasting enemies off the map and complicating issues. A sniper rifle has the ability to kill enemies from so far away they can’t even shoot back. It’s slower but more controlled.

Normally i wouldnt want to use a strat like the tank gun but i dont love infinite like i do the bungie era games so imma take the cheap way out. either way this laso is extremely easy with bandana and grapple and no iron. i feel like the most difficult way to play infinite is just regular legendary with some skulls

Someone mentioned it actually depends on your hardware/settings so if you have a less powerful console/PC you won't be able to see them. Didn't even think of that. I recorded these on an Xbox Series X.

This guide was made just before the devs decided to patch it, they then reversed that patch, and as of right now in June 22, the tank gun works again.
