To any one doing these lights . If you want your halos to light up while driving during the day i suggest you hook them up to the day time driving lights (aka side markers). The instructions in this video say to hook them up to your hi/low beams. But if you do that they will only light up during night time driving. I learned this the hard way and had to do them over again.

Got a questions. I have 2 red wires, 2 white and 2 black. I want to install the way you said. Do I hook you red to the turn signal and the white to the running lights and black to ground? I have a 96 toyota 4runner. I hook up the red to turn signal and it blinks and the emergency lights works for the halos too. I'm not sure where does the white one connect too.

If the parts and wires were properly labeled and described, it would have helped alot! 1 of the existing bulbs actually inserts into a hole on the new unit. The unit we have for a Honda Accord, came with a small attached unidentified part (glued on with sticky tape) that had a wrapped connector that needed to go "somewhere", with a red and black wire. After inserting the bulb harness into the correct hole, I took out the small bulb on the last remaining thing left, and voila, that little connector inserted into where the old bulb came out. This video left ALOT of important steps out which made installation very confusing for the novice. So now the 1st light towards the inside is extremely dim, then the high and low beams work correctly, the spot where we had to insert the old bulb harness is dim as heck because its a regular old bulb, and the halos work great as well as all the side lights. The wiring of the white and black wires was helpful tho, so your video wasn't' a complete waste, lol. Crimp connectors were not included in the kit, only 4 of the other connectors. Instructions in the box were pretty bad too.

Same... sooo glad I watched this video before buying the LED Halo model. All that black tape and splicing the factory harness. I'm surprised duct tape wasn't involved.

I would have used small zip ties. Over a period of time, electrical tape looses up and leaves your wires super sticky.

Once you do it it's super easy. If you add a relay to the halos so that they turn on automatically it's even better.

As for a 2014 Ram 3500, the lights fit perfect, the video was excellent and the lights work fine. Thanks Spec D. Used heat shrink tube for the helo/led wires.

at the very end of your video , you did not connect the factory harness to your headlight assembly ?...is it not needed ?...... does the extra wiring you did eliminate the need to connect it ?

I received my dual halo LED projectors and installed them today as per this video, my halo rings only light with my headlights not with my running lights. I see in one of your responses that you state they must me connected to running light power. That would have been extremely helpful for the person in this video to state that. Also, my Low beams go out when I go click on my High beams, is that the proper function of these lights? I have already emailed customer support and have not received a response.

I connected some halo on my car did all the wiring they all work turn on BUT they are not bright enough. When i got them i check if they work, they did and shine really bright. But when i connected all 3 together they dimmed. What can i do? Btw i connected direct to the oem wire harness. So the halos turn on with the regular projectors.

By the looks of it, the headlights are not just plug and play... you need to wire them into the harness to make them work?? I’m fine with wiring the led strip but what about the low and high beams? Are those plug and play or is different wiring needed?

I don't really see which wires go to which other than the general idea of color matching. Mine doesn't have the same color as the Halo projector headlight that I bought.

Can you not just tap the halos into your low beam wire so they come one when your headlights are on, and then tap the LEDs into any ACC wire that only comes on when the engine is on to use as DRL and this way they would also stay on when your headlights are on?

I can't see how you are putting the wires inside the connectors. When you put the wires in are they still visible or do they go inside the little cone within the connectors

I have a 05 4runner with these lights I modified them to fit HID light bulbs, now I have a 07 Yaris and I want to install LED light bulbs, is it possible to install them in these lights? Or they can just be use with common halogen light bulbs?

That green wire is the high beams, you'll have to wire up the high beam motor in your projector housing, but also run it to the bulb. This is also a very ghetto way of wiring anything, you should remove the old connector and use water proof connectors and heat shrinks so you don't start a fire.

Just bought a set of these and they are so confusing, I don't understand where the third set of B&W wires from the side of the lights connect too. The "instructions" you sent with the lights don't show how to wire anything and honestly this video is very limited on the actual wiring (doesn't make any sense) considering it also don't show the third set of B&W wires. I'm trying to install these on a 2006 Dodge Magnum and it's just not working.

I installed these on my 2007 E90 BMW a few months ago. My halos quit working. Do you have any thoughts as to why this is? I've tried tracing the wiring but don't see any specific wires for the halos only for the LEDs. Thanks for any help.

I got mine. And I’m no novice I follow directions pretty well. Here’s my problem. I got the 99-04 mustang halo/led and I got 3 sets of wires not 2 and the halos, once hooked up don’t work at all. Everything else works but that one set of wires I think are for parking lights too. Just you don’t give a very good video for us on this. Make another video.

You need to find the wire that is hot with the headlights turned off NOT on to wire the running lights. Otherwise the running lights would only be on when you turn on the headlights.

Make sure your model doesn't require a CFFM Inverter. You can also wire these to your fog lights or your daytime running lights

Shouldn't the LED wires be connected to Key on power and not the headlight power? This means the driving lights will only come on with the headlights turned on?

Hi I just got these Spec-D Halo headlights for my 2003 Ford Focus. I understand what to do, the only problem is is that in this video there is only one pair, or at least he only shows one pair, of black and white wires that go into the male crimp connectors where I have two pairs or four wires of each color. hi, when i installed my LED/Halo headlights for my 2004 celica i tied my white and black wires together from the headlight to the 12volt power source on the parking lights. low beam headlights work, high beam headlights work, blinker works, and halo lights work, but the LED lights don't work. why is this?

I bought these lights for my 2006 dodge magnum and it came with 6 extra wires. 3 black , 3 white , the instructions are useless and so is this video because this only shows 4 extra wires, unlike the 6 mine came with. am I supposed to connect all the black wires together and do the same to the white wires. i have a 2003 Grand Am 3.4L v6 problem with my headlights i have HID lights with Can-Bus Ballasts the problem that i am having is the when the lights are shinning on the wall or ground it is impossible to adjust cause my head lights has a center piece that is kinda open in the center and i have noticed on the standard halogen bulb has a painted end on the bulb when they work fine but not bright enough so i decided to go with the HID and then noticed that the end of the bulb has no paint on the tip or chrome so my problem is how do i fix this the lights are shinning everywhere but cannot adjust and has big shadows on the ground and on the wall my reflector center piece has no chrome tip is there away that i can make a reflector to make the lights shine better look up the headlights and you can see what i mean about the open center reflector.

i had led headlights but on of the ballasts gave out and were to costly to buy another set so i then decided to buy the hid kit and oh my the problems with these trying to line up is that am wondering if i should re buy the led lights all over again they were better and clearer than these hid lights that's for sure and i had no problems in lining them up cause the end had a black metal cap on the housing of the the lights and no shadows,
