What's up everyone and welcome back to another Halo 3 campaign mod showcase! In this video, we will continue our look at an enormous campaign overhaul for halo 3 adds new weapons, encounters, characters, vehicles, animations, mechanics, balancing, and a whole lot more. Making halo 3 feel like a brand new enhanced game while keeping all of its original fun content. This is Resurrection Revamp Campaign Overhaul, created by FunnyAnyway!

MAKE SURE YOU MANUALLY PUT THE ITEMS In fmod\pc INTO THE SAME DIRECTORY IN THE MCC FOLDER OR SOME SOUNDS WONT WORK!!
Navigate to Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\976730\*workshop upload number*\fmod\pc
Copy those files and paste them here

This mod has been around on nexus for quite some time. FunnyAnyway has now updated all the levels so far and completed The Covenant mission for its release on Steam! Feel free to check out more images and past versions of the mod here.

Pretty sure Chief wanted to bring no one in this mission. Bringing in Marines is basically suicide since the place is filled with flood spores that only a power armor could protect you from.

Having remnants of the Great Schism happening in this mission, although admittedly unrealistic, is a really neat idea.

It is a interesting concept since there would have been a few members of the covenant that had survived the flood after the battle of delta halo

Finding out a lot of cut content for this level, really makes you wish we could’ve seen it. Such as going into the mausoleum of the arbiters and having to fight an army of infected arbiters, or later fighting the gravemind in a scareb. There was so much, but sadly due to circumstances, most was cut.

Well, can’t lose hope yet, hopefully someday a group of modders can mod this mission and finish off what Bungie intended it to be.

@@ketchup2147 your right, since someone did do a guardian boss mod made from the cut level guardian forest, and someone is currently working on making the guardian forest return, it’s only a matter of time as you say that modderes finish bunnies original plans. Which I’m all for.

someone else said it, but having specialized marines or ODST's bringing in equipment such as gas masks and equipment to combat the flood would be sick. just a small team of 3 would be enough.

a single ODST fought through hordes of flood on the first halo ring, that is, before succumbing to their wrath. so imagine what 3 ODSTs could do? now, if you're talking about gameplay wise, I don't know how long 3-4 ODSTs would last, but I would imagine, that with the right tweaks to the AI behaviors and health, they could withstand it. In gameplay it’s clear what the devs and story writers want you to understand You’re a uniquely equipped hero, fate chose you to slay the dragon and you alone. No ODST can last, look at the end of the game. All the elites and marines retreated to the cruisers while what….only Arbiter, Johnson, and yourself go on to ignore the ring. Same in original halo. You lost alll your fellow humans That’s why I don’t read the books, they contradict the subtext of the game sooooooo much

No Play-Doh halo 4 assets they look awful if you are going to make a Halo 3 mod don't ruin it with halo 4's Play-Doe ass assets or if god forbid you use them please uprez the textures

Honestly while Halo 4 did have some questionable looks here and there the weapons were really well detailed and I think they fit in well.
