With the Acrophobia Skull, you can just fly there. Though it didnt pop on the long narrow ledge, it was on the ledge further up with 3 picnic tables.

Fun fact! Gravity works REALLY weird outside the map. You can go from the highest point and fall to the lowest point and you slowly glide down. Regardless of height

Note: marines don’t even have to spawn for this, as on PC at least. I watched hem all die earlier on when flying over, but coming back the achievement just popped anyway!

it's actually the UNSC Army that's in Halo Reach(not counting the Marines on Keyes' Pelican at the end) so someone at 343i fucked up with this achievement name.

Exploring outside the map felt like playing The Langoliers. Odd, empty, creepy sort of vibe. Would be interesting to have maybe not a game but short campaign where you and maybe a small crew explore a lifeless Halo ring devoid of Sentinels of anything (for a few hours at least, then likely discovering some form of encounter)

Technically that has been around since the Xbox 360 version the problem was you don't get an achievement for like finding that Easter egg I remember finding it like the second year that Halo reaches released that's when I had the legendary edition

Damn I remember actually going outside the map on some campaign missions years ago with my friend (the achievement is new) The banshees and marines will spawn only if you play throughout the whole mission not from a checkpoint. But you can’t drive the banshees tho.

I had 6 banshees spawn clipping through each other when I did this. When I punched one them they glitched out and blew up, killing me, meaning I had to go though the jumps again.

Can confirm this works with the acrophobia skull! Just get in the falcon, then when you get out fly yourself to this spot in the video and it'll pop. Not as much "fun" that way but it's super easy

If you dont kill any banshees but just shoot them and aggro them the enemies inside despawn and the banshees fall to the ground. Just something i found out. Thanks for the guide my dude

There is a quicker way I think from around the bravo checkpoint. Can't fully explain without visuals but I'm sure if u search for videos from 2010 you'll be able to find the quicker path that starts right below the building

I'm 99% sure it bungie put it there on purpose, so if you screw up and die getting to the Easter egg you dont have to start from your previous checkpoint. Same thing happens in the Nightfall mission when going for the hidden banshee, because it was really helpful not having to do the damn the stand-on-phantom thing again after having succeeded breaking out of the map. Hope this makes sense I'm tired as balls

just did it on legendary with skulls on solo. (for some reason I did get that achievement but didn't get the one for completing the mission on legendary with skulls on?) also I think there is another way that bypasses the jumps near the beginning. (around where you enter the out of area place, you go up to the building nearby or something, but I did die trying to return and didn't bother checking on whether I could make it there going up)

iTz HAZEN` Bungie dont need to flex with achievements. They offer eggs. Eggs grow into chickens, which creates more eggs and thus more chickens. All 343/D&D know is how to take over a grounded story and fuck it into the dirt.
