The whole first 2:30 actually was inaccurate because spartans up until the spartan IV program, were kidnapped so there is no way for Carter to know his parents or be in a regular UNSC training facility. He would be overlooked by Oni operatives.

***** Spartan III's were kept separate from the Spartan II's. III's were considered expendable as they were considerably cheaper to "produce" than the II's. assuming Carter is a Spartan II same as the rest of Noble team, then Drew is right, the first 2:30 are inaccurate.

Another topic, that battle were Kat lost her arm happened before Reach fell, on April 22nd of the year 2252, the battle in this movie is set in Fulmirole, after that it's Sigma Octanus IV, then Arcadia, then Siege of Paris IV then at last Reach on August the 30th of 2552

I really hope they do another Halo like Reach. My favorite thing about it was the fact that the players WASN'T Master Chief, that we could customize the look of our Spartan, and the fact that he maintained that look throughout the campaign. It made you feel like you were that Spartan which is freakin' awesome. Don't get me wrong, I like the games with Master Chief but Reach was a breath of fresh air in the Halo series and my personal favorite, even over Halo 4.

If you have played the games start with "Halo: Contact Harvest" Its the story behind the first contact between human race and the covenant. After that "Halo: Fall of Reach" or "Halo: The Cole Protocol" (it's not realy clear which book is chronologicaly the first one) The next few books are: "Halo: The Flood" , "Halo: First Strike" , "Halo: Ghosts of Onyx" and there are some more :D

jun's a spartan 3 (noone knows if he survived reach, but it's unlikely) but there's still some spartan 2's and 3's surviving in onyx, if i'm not mistaken there where also a few spartan 2 or 3's present for the defence of earth and then there's also spartan gray team .. who operate deep into covenant space

@13KxboxClan dude spartan threes were introduced after spartan twos due to their cheap cost and lower mortality rate after the augmentations. Though they are visibly weaker than their spartan two counterparts. They could also be trained in huge companies. The Spartans introduced in halo 4 are spartan 4's. they are made out of active duty marines instead if children.

The Scientist's name is Dr Catherine Halsey, creator of the Spartan II project. Cortana is actually an AI version of the Scientist, including her thoughts and personality. This means that they are in effect the same person. And the fates of the other Spartans is unknown, although other Spartans have been known to appear in other Halo Universe Products (Novels, trailers, etc). But from the games we get to see the fates of the Spartans in Noble Team (excluding jun) and the Master Chief.

Well see look at the assault rifle they have and compare to say a AK-47, their AR sucks because of the inaccuracy of it, we can hold down the trigger and fire at longer range(also I forgot to mention their lack of LMG's and they need an auto shotgun like an AA-12 and one more pistol) plus they don't scopes for AR's and stuff, we did get a taste of it in ODST but still, and thanks to Halo Wars we don't need anymore vehicles or air units just space needs to be improved

Fan compiled but still good! More like a trailer than a movie. Most of the footage was taken from trailers but there was some that I hadn't seen before. Some of the dialogue was likely taken from the character's firefight voices and added in.

exactly. they came in the early stages of the SPARTAN II program. the SPARTAN III program was created after for both purposes while the spartan 2s were created mainly for fighting the innies. (even though they're stronger than the 3s.)

the "spatan-1's were people who were part of the project orion group in ONI. they were never called spartan one's as they were a volunteer force of special forces group from all branches taking risky to near-suicidal assignments. you can look it up on halo wikia for more info.

Of course there is a good chance that he may be but the part of the ship that blew up wasn't George's part. George's part of the ship teleported and separated itself from the other part which destroyed due to the seperation. Unless you know all of this already then sorry for wasting your time if so.

He didn't blow up, he teleported to some unknown space in time. That was how the ship was destroyed, a large part of the ship got teleported which caused the ship to break up into multiple pieces. George was on the part of the ship that teleported so he could be anywhere in the universe as we don't know where it teleported to.

Spartans in Halo aren't just any old soldiers, they are soldiers raised from as young as 5/6 years old. They had no choice, and then they had to undergo some procedure to augment them to their armour. The spartans you see in the series are those that survived. So although it would be extremly cool to actually become a spartan, technology hasn't advance enough yet.

the thing is while the unsc stood a chance dirtside ship to ship engagements didn't turn out so well with us only winning if we outnumbered the covenant ships 4-1, if the covenant showed up now, they would get whatever they wanted and then glass earth when they were done, it wouldn't matter how well we fought

@varun009 Wrong, Spartans were abducted children not orphans of covenant killings. They were abducted as children an replaced with clones who would die soon after. Read the books or pay attention to the beginning of h4. If anything spartan 4s were orphans.

the fall of reach is exactly how it sounds while the game is based on noble team getting cortana to the piller of autumn where chief is, halsey gives cortana to noble six,an unknown spartan of the spartan IIIs he remains unknown because of bungies mysterious hero tradition. while you dont know noble six you might have heard of some of the team mates as they do appear in the stories

One flaw of halo are the UNSC weapons themselves, I mean one automatic assault rifle, one smg variant one sniper and one rocket launcher come on, even if the weapons I have listed changed to a different version each game or 3-reach changed still, no laser sights their should be 3 automatic assault rifles also in CoD logic BR and DMR go in that category but thats another story atleast 4 snipers, 3 rockets and 4 smgs also our space might sucks we had 500+ years, I still love the game

@Adamfiremask unfortunately spartans HAVE TO be taken at a young age. spartan ones are a reminder of what would happen if taken at adult stage; mental breakdowns, inefficiency, but unfortunately wouldn't directly violate ethnics. taking them as kids would result in the exact opposite. sorry if i kind of destroyed your thoughts

ONI made a directive that makes it so that any Spartan who is killed will be listed as missing in action or wounded in action in order to make Spartan's seem invincible to promote civilian morale. This led to the popular saying "Spartans never die, they're just missing in action"

Noble Six had a reentry backpack, how it works is I guess it either a super strong parachute or it is a mini rocket thruster that slows him down to survivable speeds. I mean hell in the books there were some Spartans that jumped from I think high atmosphere and only about 3 died. I mean Look at Halo 3 intro. Master Chief dropped I think like 10 miles and he survived.

Yes, he was. He was part of the ORION Project,which made the first wave of Spartans. And the reason that he doesn't have a suit is because the ORION project was started and ended before the creation of the MJOLNIR armor worn by Spartans 2 through 4. July was the release of Halo 3, September was the release of Halo Reach, and November will be the release of Halo 4; I just noticed how they're all two months apart, well all the good Halo's anyways and I have come to the conclusion how Halo 3 had two Halo's come out before Halo Reach, and Halo Reach had one Halo come out before Halo 4, so I'm just saying that Halo 4 might be the last Halo....or I could be wrong; there could possibly be a Halo 5 and at the slightest chance there could be another

To those who argue about the life or death of Jun, there is no status other then MIA. While all dead or missing Spartans get this, he truly is MIA, he went to escort Dr Halsey to Castle Base and after that he drops off the grid. Also Master Chief is not the last surviving Spartan. There is still Linda-058, Kelly-087, Frederic-104.
