I was never a fan of halo 4s story, and by extension halo 5s, but in a way it still hits hard. Chief has lost so much. Most of his fellow SPARTANs the trained with on Reach, the closest thing he had to family. Johnson, Keyes, and countless others(if you read the books). But Cortana was with him through it all. She was always there to guide him and be that sarcastic voice in his head. But, in the end, he lost her too. Ain't that a bitch.

Halo was ruined by microsoft in 2010 with reach then slighty given some respect with wars 1 and legends before being butchered in 4 by frank o connor and bonnie, before getting completely wrecked in 5 right before being defiled by normies after 2016. I hope to god this game gets put down for good.
