It's all been done for a reason but people can't help but complain then say what you do asking for exactly what they gave. Use other stuff and they do then people are mad

I mean, it makes sense to 'darken' a ship when going into battle so that when Damage Control has to go into action their eyes are already adjusted to the lower light conditions. Another thing to remember is that Spartans (like John), have much better vision than your average human, so what we see in the games could just be a reflection of that.

But it's silly to expect a show to do this as it's way too much $$$ to punch this much CGI & Heavy Fights scenes every episode. This is something that seems to go over the heads of Purist (not calling you one). Books have the luxury to go absolutely next level chaotic because it doesn't cost extra to simply print a description. A video game can do so as well since that is not skyrocketing the cost of making the game that's already in computer generated format. A tv show just can't do that every single episode. Don't know of a tv series ever that was able to just maintain an every episode shootout. Secondly, you need slow down and character development so that the insanity episodes are much more appreciated. Can't just have mindless action going on just for the sake of action or else that gets dull as well as expensive. The expense would easily overwhelm the "cool factor" doing that all day. Kinda similar to folks that expect a series to keep MC in his armor all series long when it's telling a day to day story versus a video game campaign specifically dealing with the battles for a few hours.

Paramount, excellent work! Just finished season 2 and I'm impressed. I was worried at points during the 2 seasons but you did not disappoint. How you did the Flood was totally awesome. If you make Halo like Halo, you cannot fail. I like the seriousness change to Guilty Spark. And in Halo 2, we learned that there are many Arbiters. In my opinion I love season 2. I don’t care what anyone says. The fighting and visuals is amazing! Really reminds me of the halo games. I was more satisfied than season 1. Yes some scenes in season 2 was slow pace but the build up to each action scene really pays off. I love halo ever sense I was a kid and I really do love this show and I can’t wait for season 3. I know, it's my opinion and I respect those who think differently, but personally I like the series, this second season was much better than the first, it improved in everything, I loved the new characters, the inquisitor, especially Perez, I love Mami Perez, she seems like a good character to me and I like the chemistry she has with the Chief, I love the games, and I know the lore of Halo, I don't have problems with the series enough to throw hate at it, I loved this last episode and I hope There is a season 3, it would be incredible to see the Mark V in live action.

​@Angelino_117 My issue with the show is they accelerated his character arc way too much. In the game, he slowly transforms from Master Chief, the spartan, to John, the human. It takes multiple decades of constant fighting when he's not frozen in the lore, but that's what's needed to emphasize his underlying motive. He doesn't let his own wants and desires ultimately get in the way of his main goal of protecting humanity at all costs. In the show, however, he constantly is getting side tracked by extra stories dealing with issues the lore-accurate Chief would never even fall for because he doesn't get distracted from his mission, even by commanding officers or ONI.

The Arbiter only begrudgingly spared Chief’s life due to Makee’s pleas. The Covenant Elites have a strong sense of honor, yet not for humans since they are considered heretical just for existing and thus not worthy of any level of respect. The Covenant just uses Makee as a key for Forerunner structures and as a compass for the Halo rings.

Didn't like the series, but this is a pretty epic scene. All of the action sequences were enjoyable. Music may not be THE Halo music, but it's some cool music made for Halo that works for the scene. But... Kai doesn't need to act surprised because all Spartans have their neural interfaces connected, and she also has a motion sensor so she'd already know it's John. And, they also kinda forgot Kai is also S-II, meaning, she can also fight like how Chief did but they cornered her for his entry. Anyway, rule of cool rules.

I have come to realize that the people who hate the TV show still religiously watch the show just so they can complain about how much they hate it. Normal people stop watching things they hate... but here we are at the end of Season 2 and the haters are still going strong nipping at its heels. Apparently there are way more people in to S&M than I realized.

They have a mental disorder unfortunately and don't even realize it. There's ZERO LOGICAL explanation as to why someone who intensely hates something would continue to lurk around commenting on it every chance they get. It's not much different than the mental disorder a racist possesses. They hate a particular race so much but instead of ignoring that race...they focus and salivate on that race as much as possible. A normal person doesn't do these things. Things I dislike and/or have no interest in...I simply avoid. Repeatedly shouting in a comment section about such things would be a waste of my time. A normal person spends time around the things they love and/or have interest in...not the things they have determined are fails, horrible, bad, etc.
