Actually, all this Halo 2 Terminals made me wonder if the Prothets started to see a Thread in Thel 'Vadamee similar to the one of the only known Imperial Admiral Xytan 'Jar Wattinree at the time he engaged Halo for the first time.

I for one am glad it doesn't take us to that Halo app which the MCC on Xbox One did every time you found a terminal in the games. That was annoying.

Another great and informative video well done !! Always love these ! Quick lore question: did the daughter of Dr Sorvad (Sará Sorvad I believe) survive the events of reach or did she not make it ? I recently learned that earlier in the development for Reach she was supposed to have a bigger role. That got me wondering as to her fate. Thx ahead of time and stay safe out there !

Also is Olifant (the dump truck in ODST) a direct reference to the Lord of the Rings or am I missing something ?

Sara's never really been mentioned outside of Halo Reach (aside from a brief mention in Warfleet), so we really have no idea what happened to her. Olifant could certainly be a reference to Oliphaunts from LOTR, but the term is also a legit alternate spelling of Elephant and the name of hunting horns from the middle ages made from Elephant tusks. LOTR Oliphaunts were named after this. Knowing Bungie it might be an LOTR reference, but I couldn't say. Maybe both, given the use of the horn in ODST.
