Halogen Motion to LED Light Conversion - LED Bulb Replacement

Upgrading to LED lights but I have an old Halogen motion sensor base that isn't compatible. The lights turn off immediately after the motion is detected. I could have probably experimented with resistors etc. in order to keep the motion sensor working but I didn't need it. I'm guessing, the lights switch off due to the LED's drawing less power than the halogens bulbs.
Quick guide on how to alter your old base to accept the new style light. I didn't want to spend the extra cash on a new base, this one is perfectly good.
**Warning: Disables the motion sensor aka the part of the circuit incompatible with the led bulb. Ideal for someone looking to use a home assistant for manual light control.
My setup: Since this disables the motion detection. I have a routine in my Google Home to turn on every evening (sunset) at 60% and turn off in the morning (sunrise).
At the end of the video I provide an illustration of the original wiring (left) and the bypass (right) you'll need to make in the circuit.

Wow! I had the same exact issue with my motion sensor light fixture and Hue bulbs for my back patio. I removed the sensor fixture and replaced it with a normal fixture and that solved the problem though your way would have been less costly.

The only fixtures I could find at my local hardware store either weren't compatible with my philips bulbs or cost a lot of money. I don't care much about the motion option either. I thought this was the most simple route to swap out the lighting without the need to spend a lot $$ or waste a perfectly good fixture. My google home turns them on at 60% every evening and they switch off at sun rise. So far the bulbs from philips have performed quite well. Thanks for the comment!
