I honestly prefer this more trip-hoppy and broody version. It feels more congruent with what I think Halsey intended the song to convey in terms of feeling. The album version goes in an anthemic path and veers into radio-pop territory Same set of words, pretty stark difference in essence.

I don't believe that this is a real demo. The vocals are completely the same as the version on the album, but the rest seems so much more low quality that I don't believe that the vocals on an old demo like this would be so high quality. I'm not completely dissing, just thinkin.
