Halsey is so good with her words, lyrics and speaking. She could have said 'i hate artists who don't write their own lyrics' but instead she said that 'there are different ways to be an artist'. Very professional and unbiased, its hard to argue with her because basically all of her points are valid and considerate

I can relate in losing oneself, trying to find oneself, making one self's own decisions, and getting comfortable in your own skin, after a major life change, when one is forced to live alone. It's a scary place to be when you're used to being with someone and then one day, and after that, moving forward, you're all alone.. It's nice to know someone like you, Halsey, to talk about such a change in your own life. Thank you for sharing. What I have learned is it's total self satisfaction, some people say its selfish, but for people who can relate, it's a major life change and it's self satisfaction, nothing to feel or be judged as "Selfish", about, it's a major life changing experience. Once you get a taste of that "Freedom", you feel free. I hope that when someone finds this freedom, finds them self, that no matter if they are seriously involved or has children, or a roommate, or has some form of a serious-like relationship thing going on, whether it be family or business, I hope you never lose yourself... Be strong and always keep yourself and keep moving forward, no matter what! Good luck!

Halsey is so before her time it's like she's lived for 60 yrs when she speaks about anything...she explains things beautifully! It's as if she's lived soo long. @alberto84617 жыл бұрын
Except, now we've heard the song - it's meaningful and beautiful, but has nothing specifically to do with the lgbt experience. There's nothing bi-specific about having sex without love, or wanting to keep emotions separate from a casual relationship.
@florenciaramos15237 жыл бұрын
to me, being two bi women talking about their same sex experience, is an lgbt experince. is a way to normalize the situation (as it should be) is not a story about fighting for right or the approval of loved ones, is just two lgbt girls and their lgbt romance. i dont say is the new bi anthem haha, but is honest. but i do see what you say and appreciate the different point of views
@alberto84617 жыл бұрын
+Florencia Ramos True, though it's not actually "their romance". It's two bisexual women singing a song that Ashley wrote as a solo, about her own feelings. It is a beautiful song, but I wish it didn't feed into the stereotype of bisexuals as sex-crazed people who can't be monogamous. To the extent that anyone is paying attention, the song gives ammunition to people who think bisexuality is just an excuse for thoughtless, reckless promiscuity.

This interview is incredible. I love Halsey so so much + I really appreciate the way that you ask questions in general, as someone who loves watching interviews with my favorite artists I get so tired of hearing the same questions and the same stories again and again. I don't need to know if my favorite artists are single for the 30th time. If that's something the artist is okay with their fans knowing then I'll already know the answer to that question. If it isn't then I'm not going to find out via them being asked for the fifty-millionth time. Either way it's a pointless waste of precious interview time. Relationships get talked about of course, but for the most part the artist brings them up themselves. I really appreciate and value these interviews, thank you so much to the Zach Sang show for putting together interviews that ask the questions that fans really want the answers to.
