I feel like she belittles herself too much and doesn’t give herself enough credit. She’s an incredible artist, who has done so much for her fans in ways no other artist has. Her music has impacted lives and made people understand her pain or others pain in such a unique way that some artist can’t succeed. She has such an amazing way of putting her feelings in music that so many people understand and go through on the daily. I think she needs to realize a little more and reminded everyday that she is actually a good person inside and out and she’s a one of a kind, different person who only comes in a lifetime. She’s unique in her own ways and does things her way and I think that’s what everyone appreciates the most.

Around 26:00 minutes into the video what she’s talking about.. would be called Codependency!! And being a Codependent person is literally so very depleting, exhausting, & truly crazy making!! And if you don’t seek help to overcome being a Codependent person.. you can pretty much say bye bye to your physical & mental health!! Learning how to say the word NO & learning how to set boundaries.. is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do!! Yet on the other hand it’s been one of the most liberating, freeing, load lifters, peaceful decision I’ve ever made!! As well it has afforded/allowed me to receive some much needed mental, physical & spiritual healing!! And it has made my life so much more manageable!! Learning how to let go & go no contact with those that you love & need the most (my mom) has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make!! My mom is a covert narcissist & has always been very emotionally & mentally abusive to me!! And it sucks & hurts like hell to have to grieve a mother who never knew how to love me or be a mother to me!!!

Thank you so much Ashley, for doing this. I heard Gasoline on youtube one day and just literally left this world and was transformed to yours, but by doing that I saw so much in myself. There is so much reflection that happens when I listen to your songs. Helped me in a real low time in my life, to realize I am not alone and that I do deserve to have my feelings heard, and not just toss them out, because someone says they're invalid. Watching you through social media right now is exactly what I need, it really is. Not to sound to over the top but I just am so in love with you as a person as an artist and as a public figure. Following your life and hearing your heart through your music is so breath taking! Your music is one of the only things helping me get through life right now. So thank you again for being so honest and putting out Without Me. Literally the best song ever.
